Big Blast Fireworks - Sand Springs Superstore Indoor Retail Fireworks Facility in Sand Springs. During the first four years of operation, Big Blast was a family venture only. was born.

In 1986, the Barbour family began Big Blast Fireworks as a way to provide funds for the education of their children. Fireworks sales provided financial benefits as well as the flexibility their family required to raise three children. The Barbour family has always had a heart for missions and outreach programs. As fireworks sales became more successful, they desired to expand their business in ord

er to assist community outreach programs. In 1991, the Barbours entered their first cooperative fundraising project and Big Blast Inc. In 2007, with a desire to see her family's business expand, Melissa Barbour Torkleson and her husband Chris started Tork Investments LLC, a subsidiary of Big Blast Fireworks. Chris and Melissa will celebrate the grand opening of their first indoor fireworks facility in June of 2011.

💥allows for residents on personal property (in unincorporated areas) to shoot off fireworks providing there is no burn ban.🥳

💥Know your laws if you live inside city limits. It is still illegal to shoot in City limits of Tulsa, some surrounding cities will sell permits BUT know your local laws.
💥fireworks are “fire that works”. Operate safely, following the instructions on the labels.👍🏼 (oh wait you mean there are instructions…..absolutely there are instructions!)👏🏼🙌🏼
💥have a designated shooter that is sober!

TWO momentous occasions for us this year! Our country’s 250th birthday 🇺🇸 AND it’s our 40th birthday🥳💥! Big Blast started from humble beginnings in 1986. Big Blast's first wooden stand was built and operated by founders, Harry and Sherry Barbour and their 3 children❤️. Our families first location in 1986 was at Dotsons Produce in Bixby, Oklahoma, and 40 years later we are thrilled to continue our family's legacy of providing fundraising as a tool for non profit groups while allowing celebrations 🎉💥 to take place throughout the communities we serve.
