Sometimes, part of our job is making announcements we don’t love.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, our friends at Mark’s Barn Auto have made the difficult decision not to host their traditional “renegade stage” at West End this year.

We’re incredibly grateful for the many years of music, energy, and a little bit of beautiful chaos they’ve brought to the West End. Mark’s Barn Auto is a special part of the festival and we hope to see plenty more music returning to their lot in the future.

Last minute announcement ✨ we are excited to invite Jayson Fann and the Aṣé Ensemble to the Elevate 831 Stage!

For over two decades, Aṣé Ensemble has brought together internationally accomplished musicians whose roots span Africa, the Caribbean, Latin America, and the United States. While each has performed globally, many now call the Monterey Peninsula home.

The result is a rare regional collaboration that honors the living traditions of the African diaspora while showing how music continues to evolve across cultures and generations.

At its core, Aṣé Ensemble reflects a simple truth: though cultures travel different paths, they remain deeply connected through rhythm.

Please help us be good neighbors while enjoying West End. Carpool whenever possible, park only in designated parking areas, keep driveways and access points clear, follow posted signs, and take advantage of the free shuttle - and our bike valet! - whenever you can.

We’re proud to support Youth Arts Collective (YAC) and the next generation of Monterey County artists at this year’s West End Celebration!

On Saturday, August 22, stop by C A P T A I N + S T O K E R for YAC’s Sketch Circle. Take a seat and pose while a circle of student and professional artists creates your portrait - then take the drawings home with you!

You can also meet young local artists, explore YAC’s pop-up show, and shop original art, prints, stickers and more at the artist merch booths.

YAC provides young artists with studio space, supplies, professional mentorship, exhibition opportunities and a creative community where they can develop their skills and their own artistic voices.
