Illusions of Grandeur II, Inc. was delighted to recently have created our version of a glamping event. In house customized faux cabin walls paired with green velvet fabric panels transformed the space into glamping luxury. Home made wood sliced cocktail tables and bars brought the outdoor feeling in. Our living edge table collection was paired with linens to finish off the look.

What do you do when you can't land a live hot air balloon on a local golf course? At Illusions of Grandeur II, Inc. we create our own!

We always love to bring the outside indoors as we did with this Hot Air Balloon environment!

The look incorporated our new Coastal Collection including a variety of vintage communal and 48" tables, vineyard chairs, specialty in house custom made bar, and more. Details like brand new market stands, oversized sunflowers, and floating clouds added to the event to round out the look.

Of course, the pièce de résistance was the 15' custom made hot air balloon photo op! Guests entered the basket at the base to take amazing selfies!

Fun fact....the hot air balloon took 1,800 faux flowers and almost 2 weeks to glue on!

Up, up, and away! Our team was proud to have created a colorful Hot Air Balloon inspired event, where we created our own hot air balloon prop inside a ballroom. The fabulous structure ended up being about 6' wide and 15' tall which was adorned with 800 bright yellow Gerbera daisies and 1,000 teal dahlias! It became a stunning photo op as guests entered the balloons basket at its base.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY UNITED STATES OF AMERICA!

What better way to celebrate our fine nation and our community than enjoying our giant American flag backdrop at Colton Hall! The festivities begin tomorrow with the Monterey 4th of July Pancake Breakfast, followed by the Parade, and City of Monterey's Big 4th of July Celebration and Backyard Food Fest 2026.

We are proud to have been apart of this celebration for well over 30 years.

We celebrated a great southern tradition, the 152nd Kentucky Derby, at Black Stallion Winery in the heart of the Napa valley. Custom printed bars, tables, and banners showcased the history of the Kentucky Derby while the custom built entry arch brought it all to life. Fresh rose centerpieces were reminiscent of the traditions, big trophies and bigger hats.
