Hosted at Buona Tavola in Downtown SLO, the couple wanted to tie in their love for San Luis Obispo by highlighting this area before celebrating the big day in Arroyo Grande where they grew up. Having traveled the world together throughout their relationship—and with an Italian honeymoon on the horizon—they wove their love of Italy and exceptional cuisine into the celebration by choosing this authentic gem to kick off the weekend. Right next door is the iconic Fremont Theater, which just so happened to be the perfect welcome sign and way to kick off their fairytale weekend.

Carson and Joel got married on a gorgeous day in Mid-May at Joel’s family’s avocado farm in Morro Bay. The sun was shining, the horses were paid actors, the pizza truck was a moment and the checkered dance floor made for the best night ever.
