A custom die-cut coastline became the silhouette for this oversized welcome sign, layered with their monogram and editorial typography to bring the invitation design to life on a larger scale.

Before guests experience the wedding, they experience the invitation.

For this Italian-inspired affair, the invitation suite began the story: a tall No. 10 invitation layered with a details card, RSVP, and weekend schedule, translating the sun-drenched Amalfi Coast into print with a sculptural sensibility, where shape, rhythm, and negative space became just as important as color.

Tied together with delicate gold twine and tucked into a custom No. 10 envelope, the suite was finished with a bold striped liner inspired by DESIGN STUDIO + EVENT RENTALS’s sofia yellow stripe scalloped sofa, creating a subtle connection to the celebration and hinting at the design details still to come.

It’s created through hundreds of thoughtful decisions made by the couple and their dream vendor team, all working together toward one shared vision.

For Jenna and Kevin’s wedding, every stationery and signage detail was designed to feel connected. From the invitation suite that welcomed guests months before the celebration to the menus, welcome sign, seating chart, and finishing touches they experienced throughout the day, every piece was created with intention.

One of the greatest gifts of working in the wedding industry on California’s Central Coast is the people.

Behind every beautiful celebration is a team of hardworking creatives who genuinely want one another to succeed. Planners who thoughtfully connect couples with the perfect vendor team. Photographers and videographers who preserve memories for generations. Florists, stationery, and signage designers who transform spaces into meaningful experiences. Caterers and dessert artists who create moments guests gather around and remember long after the last dance. Venues that welcome us like family and provide the backdrop where every love story unfolds. DJs, rental companies, beauty teams, content creators, and countless others, all working toward the same goal: creating an unforgettable celebration.

I’ve never believed weddings are created by one vendor. They’re built through collaboration, trust, and a community of people who show up for one another. The best celebrations happen when talented people share ideas, champion each other’s work, and genuinely celebrate one another’s success.

The Central Coast may be known for its breathtaking landscapes, but it’s the people behind the celebrations who make this place truly special. I’m incredibly grateful to call this community home.

POV: Your name gets called… and the room erupts.

Being recognized as California Wedding Day’s Best Invitation Designer for the fifth consecutive year is a moment I’ll never take for granted. I’m still just as humbled, grateful, and inspired to keep creating meaningful wedding experiences for my couples.

This year, I’m embracing my designer era. Dreaming bigger, creating bolder, trusting my instincts, and no longer afraid to take up space.

Thank you to every couple who trusted me with their story, every planner and vendor partner who continues to recommend my work, and every friend and family member who has cheered me on along the way. I truly wouldn’t be here without you.

Five consecutive years as California Wedding Day’s Best Invitation Designer and three consecutive years recognized as a finalist for Best Signage Designer in San Luis Obispo.

What humbles me most isn’t the recognition.

It’s knowing that, year after year for more than a decade, couples have trusted me to help tell one of the most meaningful stories they’ll ever celebrate.

When people ask what I do, it’s easy to say I design wedding invitations and signage.

But that’s never been the whole story.

Design is how I care for people.

These recognitions aren’t about paper, ink, envelopes, postage or signs.

They’re about trust and thoughtful conversations.
Late nights perfecting the smallest details.
Showing up.
Finding creative solutions.
And caring about someone’s wedding and events as if it were my own.

Great design has never been about making something pretty.

It’s communication.
It’s hospitality.
It’s storytelling.
It’s attention to detail.

From the first touchpoint, E+C’s story was designed to be experienced. Their save-the-date featured their engagement photo, later reused in their newlywed newspaper, creating a seamless narrative throughout.

For their fall Central Coast wedding at , a sage, terracotta, and ivory palette paired with clean typography carried across every piece, feeling elevated, cohesive, and personal.
