1 Don’t go to a wedding show right after getting engaged it can be quite overwhelming and you’ll meet some great vendors who you will probably forget after a few months.

2. Lock down a date and venue before you go! Be ready to book someone you love! Most vendors have show specials you can take advantage of if you book but you need to have the venue and date first.

3. Take notes don’t just grab the information. Notes will help you remember things about the vendor you may have liked. For example: photographer had great vibes and easy to talk to.

4. Bring someone you trust to help. You will be getting a lot of information. Bring someone to help you take notes.

5. Enjoy!! You are the star of the show!

Make sure to capture what makes you and your partner unique! Here are some ways to do that!

1. Choose the right venue: whether it’s in the forest because you’re an outdoor couple or an Art Museum like my bride here, make sure the venue reflects who you are.

2. Use Unique Table Names: this by far is the easiest and cheapest way to reflect you as a couple. Use pictures of yourselves or places you’ve been. My couple here had all pictures of their cat 💕

3. Write your own vows: now I know some of you may not be great writers or speakers but writing your own vows really helps your guests truly understand the depth of your relationship. If you your more sentimental or more funny, either way guests can get a sense of you!

4. Have pictures of you on your guest table. Print pictures that you’ve never posted or shared. This makes it more intimate and more of a surprise for your guests!
