I was given permission by Jairo to share his story. It's been awhile since I have had the opportunity to post but I'd like you to Meet Jairo and his dad. Jairo found me on Yelp and asked me for help with a small bouquet for his Moms gravesight. My heart melted from the beginning because he sounded so sweet on the phone. As we started chatting after Jairo arrived, He told me he works the graveyard shift as a security guard at the mall . He mentioned wanting to be around during the day for his 2 younger sisters since it hasn't been very easy for all of them( mom just passed away suddenly this labor day) She was very loved at the 7-11 where she worked off White Road next to Mexican bakery for over 15 years. If you've shopped here I'm sure you've met Jairo's Mom, Maria Pina. I was able to get to know so much about Jairo's family within the short amount of time.
I told Jairo I didnt need his CC when he tried to pay, and told him its a gift from me and that he's always welcome to come back to visit and I'll make him more flowers again! He said his mom loved succulents and some of the flowers/ colors we used .
I'm sincerely blessed to do what I do because of all the wonderful people I meet. Hearing their unique stories makes me feel like I need to work harder to help as many people as possible. I almost didn't pick up Jairo's phone call in time because I was on another call, but I'm so glad to help him. Honestly We never know what someone is going through in life. I know everyone has their own battles but I want to thank you for trying your best to be kind to those around you.
