Founded by South Bay natives Derek Tam and Brian Edwards, Hapa’s Brewing started as a homebrewing project in 2007 before opening their San José brewery () in 2017. The name “Hapas,” a Pacific Islander term often used to describe mixed heritage, reflects both the founders’ backgrounds and the blending process behind brewing beer.

Meet the artists shaping the Art Corridor—a public art experience celebrating San José’s rich heritage and creative spirit through three large-scale installations spanning over 9,000 square feet.

🌼 Flora & Fauna curated by and created by father/daughter artist duo Alyssarhaye () and Francisco Graciano. This installation explores the outlines of native plants and birds of San José, echoing the quiet rhythms of the local landscape through steel sculpture.  📍 The Lot, 140 S. Montgomery Street

🎨The Buzz, curated by and concept artist Charmin Roundtree, features works from Nicole Dixon (), Carmen Mcnall (), Rayos Magos (), and Ian John (). This functional installation uses vibrant, layered bottle shapes with integrated circular artworks to create a space that welcomes human connection, cultural diversity, and nature .

Once again lives up to their name 💚.

At the Sacred Heart Community Service Toy Box event, they delivered 102 refurbished bikes and 6 refurbished scooters, thanks in great part to the generous support of the San José community. 🚲

With the bikes and tots donated, more than 2,200 households will be celebrating very happy holidays!🎄🧸☃️🚲💙✨
