We're asked quite often, "what's the difference between a wedding coordinator and a venue coordinator?" and while there are MANY answers and it really depends on each venue, here's a very basic breakdown.

Your venue coordinator, MOST of the time, will handle things only related to the venue - opening up the venue and closing it down at the end of the night, managing their internal staffing (parking attendants, security, setup teams, servers if applicable, etc.).

In comparison, your wedding coordinator will handle the logistics of the day - timeline creation, directing the vendor team, keeping charge of the flow of the day, setting up and tearing down personal items, etc.

That said, we couldn't do what we do without the amazing venue coordinators that we work with. Teamwork is crucial for a wedding, especially between the coordinators.

the moments directly following the ceremony are our favorite. our couples get to process that they're MARRIED and they finally, officially, get to start the rest of their lives together after so much planning, so many decisions. for our couples who want to prioritize their time together, we work in a buffer post-ceremony to just take a few minutes to relax together before getting on with the rest of the events of the evening.

we'll be setting up your welcome table, reserved signs, centerpieces, and all of your other personals items, coordinating with and directing vendors, and completing final checks to ensure each space has been set up per your instruction!
