These two will be back on this very same stage at The Knockout THIS FRIDAY March 27th as part of The Vesuvians! They'll be doing a special all-reggae live set and it's FREE all night long so come thru from 9PM-2AM! 💥💥💥

We are so excited to finally be able to bring a band to Tip Top Reggae Club. It’s only fitting that the first live performance feature a local San Francisco band and one that also features our very own Corey Poluk on vocals.

Tectonics SF are born out of a love for the golden era of Jamaican Music and features former members of reggae, soul, and ska bands from LA, to Vancouver, to right back here in the Bay Area. With a mix of covers of their favourite hits and rarities along with their own originals, this is one you won’t wanna miss. 💥💥💥

We are officially one week away from our next edition of Tip Top Reggae Club! This time we have a very special live performance from San Francisco's newest reggae band Tectonics SF! This will also be the bands first show featuring our very own Corey Poluk AKA Young Royal as their new lead singer.

Featuring former members of The Uptones, Titan Ups, The Cover-Ups, The Ballantynes, and The Valuables, this group pays homage to the golden era of Jamaican music. Join us Friday June 20th from 9PM-2AM. FREE COVER ALL NIGHT LONG! 💥💥💥

With everything happening we forgot to mention the extremely tragic passing of the one and only Kenneth L. Farquharson AKA Ken Parker. Without question one of the most unheralded of the long lineage of falsetto singers from Jamaica, Ken Parker’s delivery and energy on a track was unmistakable.

On February 22nd we lost another legend and just a day before he would turn 77. Originally stating his career by singing with The Blues Benders he auditioned for Coxsone Dodd but due to a misunderstanding was the only member to show up, so he auditioned as a solo act.

After impressing Dodd he started his solo career and recorded iconic tunes like “My Whole World Is Falling Down” and “Choking Kind” with Studio One. Ken Parker’s career saw him record with other iconic producers such as Bunny Lee, Rupie Edwards, Joe Gibbs, Byron Lee, and of course Duke Reid.

His memory and the legacy he left will never be forgotten. Rest in power Ken and thank you for all the music. ❤️❤️❤️

We are officially only days away from the first of our quarterly Friday editions of Tip Top Reggae Club! To celebrate the occasion we are proud to have our friend Roberto Delas Torres AKA Robbie Studio joining us from Mexico City!

We will also have the incredible Nightfall Hifi providing the sound for the night. This local Oakland Soundsystem has made waves recently and believe me, you will want to know why. It all goes down this Friday at The Knockout. Doors at 9PM. Free before 10PM. $5 after. 💥💥💥
