and wedding weekend began with a rehearsal dinner we planned on Greene Street in SOHO. It was our first wedding in NYC and trust me it was no small feat. It all started when Josh from planted a seed with Bridget that getting a rare permit to close a block in NYC may be possible. Many months later I came on board as the wedding planner and I wanted to make sure we made this event happen and thankfully we did with my tenacious staff. My team was able to make it. For the design I was inspired by Bridget's vintage Dior gown that stylist helped source with beautiful pleat detail. I thought it would be nice to carry that detail through on the custom long tablecloth. Since Bridget and I both love green and I think we it's the best neutral color, it felt right to bring in green to add some freshness to the palette. I fell in love with the vine plates and found the prettiest rental crystal hurricanes from . The letterpress placecards that had the dinner menu on the underside from and was another green detail I loved. found the perfect white ruffle tip tulips that completed the tabletop. Then the food and service by the amazing team at .catering was on point. My friends at provided the most beautiful subtle lighting. The crooner Sergio from serenaded the guests all night. It literally was a dream come true. Thank you to my new friend Josh for planting that seed, the best things happen when you push and go the extra mile. Planning + Design:
