Getting her start at Thomas Flower Farm in Santa Cruz, Amanda developed a strong connection with the land and sourced her inspiration from the movement, texture, and natural order found in the natural landscapes of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Since then, Amanda has worked for some of San Francisco's top prop stylists and floral designers, developing an eye for lush, liberated, and elegant arrangemen
ts. Sourcing materials locally whenever possible and pulling flowers and foliage from her community garden plot in Potrero Hill, Amanda stays true to her Flower Farm origins and thus encompasses strong feelings that the small things should be embraced with each and every design. Today, Amanda is sharing flowers through weddings, social events, photoshoots, accounts, and special deliveries. By hand-picking each bloom and growing a few blooms herself, Amanda is able to hone in on unique and exclusive colors, shapes, and textures to set the tone of a space. Her design style is described as free and loose, yet elegant and intentional, often using unique materials that catch the eye. A natural extension to Amanda's creative vision, Amanda is also for hire as a prop stylist. Honing in on floral and botanical styling, Amanda creates ethereal settings for commercial and editorial photo shoots. While we are based in San Francisco, we love to travel nationally and internationally for weddings, events, and photoshoots.
