Edge on the Square presents SUPER FLEX. San Francisco’s most electrifying contemporary art festival returns for its 4th year!

Four streets. One night. Infinite possibilities.

For one day, we’re taking over Chinatown. Asian-American and BIPOC artists will transform Grant Avenue, Waverly Place, Ross Alley, and Wentworth Place into a living canvas where we will flex for freedom, justice, and joy.

This year’s theme explores how alter egos and shadow selves become powerful portals to reclaim power, subvert harmful narratives, and reimagine possibility, turning vulnerability into power and imagination into action.

At the intersection of solidarity and contemporary art, SUPER FLEX is the call for our community to join forces against entities that seek to silence and divide.

Andrew Sproule, a spotlight operator!

Whether drawing focus to a featured dancer, enhancing dramatic moments, or subtly illuminating a plot point, the spotlight operator plays a crucial role in shaping how we experience the performance. Their precision and timing bring an added layer of artistry to the SF Ballet experience.
