And our first public appearance is SOLD OUT! That’s right, our Saturday night show on the yacht leaving SF is sold out! Plus, we have a private gig on the peninsula for another double hitter weekend of two shows this weekend! Go team!

Feliz día do passista! Way back Wednesday when out of all of these amazing passistas from around the globe, the Drum major chose ME?! to lead the parade, and their school. I will forever and always be grateful for the doors the universe opens for me. 🙏🏼 These dancers are literally world class samba dancers from Brazil, Argentina, Ghana/US, and he chose , me. 🙏🏼 He just watched all of us dance and freestyle and then he made the decision. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Honored to be chosen in Rio to lead among these fierce ladies who each have their own respective dance companies here in the SF Bay Area, Florida, Argentina, and Australia. #graciasalavidaquemehadadotanto #passista #suerte #buenavibra

What a year! 🙏🏼 By far our most successful year yet! Here are our firsts, accomplishments and top photos of 2021! Enjoy, we sure did! 😄

1. Launched our outdoor samba pop up dance class series with live Brazilian music.

2. First ever Afro Brazilian and Salsa performances to live 10 piece bands at outdoor waterfront venues.

3. Performed worldwide reaching 22 countries across the globe for a live streaming corporate tech event.

4. Refreshed choreographies and costumes with the latest moves and fashion from Rio de Janiero.

5. Increase our team 3X to meet highest demand of up to 5 shows per week for multiple weeks.

6. Recipient of a grant to provide low income families access to online dance during the pandemic.

7. Had our 1st photo shoot ever. Normally we just bring a camera to shows.

8. Grew our social media to 2k followers, and had a photo featured by Yelp.

9. Received nearly a dozen glowing reviews on Yelp and Gig Salad for our outstanding performances.

10. Highest net on the books ever. (Net is total gross less total expenses).

11. The most shows in 1 night, 6! In fact planned for tomorrow night, NYE! The most NYE shows ever!

Super grateful for the amazing team of artists who ✨shine✨ on stage, our clients for constantly inviting us to make their event special and our founder for non stop round the clock behind the scenes work to make things run smoothly.

Now that was a party! Wonderful toy drive and Birthday celebration for Darryl Reed! This party was poppin and even Too Short, MC Hammer and TonyToniTone shows up. Oakland’s whose who. Such an honor to celebrate this man. What a way to end the year.

If you want something a bit more mellow you can catch our team in the East Bay at @tradervicseville with live Brazilian band by @diogosabremusic and samba shows with live drumming at 9pm, 9:45, and 10:30pm at this waterfront venue!

Ring in the new year with 💕Amor do Samba💕! Join us in the lounge with live Brazilian band by @diogosabremusic from 8pm- most night , or make a dinner reservation and catch our samba shows with live drumming at 9pm, 9:45pm and 10:30pm! Ring in the new year at this local Iconic waterfront venue!

And if you’re in the mood for Salsa you can catch our other public show at The Marriot in San Mateo! We hit at midnight and this party brings you the best SF Bay Area salsa bands! And por samba set at midnight.

These are our only two public NYE shows. Our other four gigs are private for a grand total of 6 NYE gigs on Friday night! The most we have ever had in our decade + NYE performances. And four of six were booked by Oct. 😍

Morning ☀️ No shows lined up for this Thanksgiving weekend and we are grateful to have a rare weekend off and some much needed time to rest. Come December we are kicking off a very busy month.

Grateful for nonstop back to back weekend of shows sometimes 3-7 per week ever since May when vaccinations were rolled out. 🙏🏼
