Can a relationship survive if one person is a chronic overcommunicator and the other processes emotions in complete silence?

Need some honest perspective / advice on marriage & finances đź’”

My boyfriend recently proposed, which should be the happiest moment, but I'm feeling really anxious and torn. He has significant financial debt.

I love him, but I’m really worried about how this could affect my own financial future and our life together. For those who have been in a similar situation:

Did you move forward with marriage, or wait until the debt was paid off?

How did you protect yourself financially (e.g., prenups, separate accounts)?

What red flags or green flags should I be looking out for right now?

Would love to hear your experiences and advice. Thank you! ❤️

Need some tactful advice on a tricky dating dynamic! 💸🍷

I’ve been going on dates with someone who clearly has a much higher disposable income than I do. They love suggesting high-end restaurants, cocktail lounges, and weekend getaways. While I appreciate the finer things, that kind of spending just isn't in my budget right now, and splitting those bills evenly is getting stressful.

I want to keep seeing them, but I also don't want to go into debt just to keep up, nor do I want them to feel like they always have to pick up the tab.

How do you bring up budget differences early on without making things awkward or feeling self-conscious?

What are your favorite low-cost or free date ideas that still feel special and intentional?
