spring is just around the corner

sogetsu is known for its progressive flower arranging techniques and design. along with technique and design, the environment is as important where the exhibit is presented. ruth bancroft garden is a perfect place for this.

it’s a unique, modern and inspirational place. and for those who loves succulents, this garden is an oasis! i can be there all day long. this my first time visiting the garden and it won’t be my last. come by to enjoy this amazing garden and some incredible arrangements by the sogetsu school of ikebana.

Years ago I remembered the first time I saw Ruth Asawa’s sculptures. It was pure joy and delight! I had no idea who Ruth was nor her works. The past few weeks I’ve learned so much about her...and tomorrow I’ll have the opportunity to create arrangements in her honor for
