Come meet our young maker, Mikayla, at Little Oceanauts Young Makers & Entrepreneurs Mini Market Event on Friday, July 10th from 5pm - 7pm!

My name is Mikayla and I am the creator of MikyBark Soap. I make colorful handmade glycerin soaps with fun designs such as ducks, sports themes, and surprise toys inside.
My goal is to make bath time more fun for children and families. I will earn money by selling individual soaps, gift sets, and mini soaps. I plan to attract customers with colorful displays, product demonstrations, social media, and friendly customer service. I hope to continue growing MikyBark Soap, learn more about entrepreneurship, save money for future supplies, and create new soap designs for children and families.

Come meet our young makers, Katherine & Kai, from Kate & Kai’s Snack Shop during our Young Makers & Entrepreneurs Event on Friday, July 10th from 5pm - 7pm.

Fun Facts about Kate: Loves cooking and trying new recipes! She also loves reading and is almost always carrying a book. She’s obsessed with sea otters!
- What She’s Excited About: “I’m excited to make yummy treats for everyone!”
- How She’s Planning Her Table: “I’m helping make our snacks look pretty and easy to choose!”

Fun Facts about Kai: He’s sat in a real airplane cockpit twice! He loves anything with wheels—planes, trains, trucks, and construction vehicles—and knows lots of fun facts about them.
- What He’s Excited About: “I’m excited to sell yummy snacks, help customers pick treats... and make money!”
- How He’s Planning His Table: “I’m going to help set everything up and be our friendly helper and greeter!”

Come meet Sophia at the Young Makers & Entrepreneurs Mini Market event on Friday, July 10th from 5pm - 7pm!

They’ll be selling:
All things axolotl, from original Artwork, Posters, Greeting cards (hand painted, digitalized & printed) & Hand made worry stones

Sophia is passionate about axolotls. She loves drawing them, creating stories about them, and making fun projects inspired by her favorite animal. She already got many of her friends interested in axolotls too. Sophia asked me to help open her Etsy shop, and we are currently in the process of setting it up.
We plan to sell her artwork and creative projects like stickers, greeting cards, posters, and small handmade items. We hope to grow by sharing her art with friends, family, social media, and local events. People really connect with Sophia’s creativity and excitement, and we want to turn that into a fun small business she can grow over time. I’m also currently working on adjusting my schedule so I can support Sophia more with her business ideas and creative projects.
