Last Saturday marked my fifth year co-producing the Alliance for Smiles at the Hotel Nikko. The mission of Alliance for Smiles -- changing children’s lives through cleft surgeries around the world -- is nothing short of extraordinary.

I was completely surprised to be honored with this amazing recognition.

Being part of this incredible event each year is a truly a privilege. It’s my opportunity to work alongside passionate, dedicated people who genuinely care about dramatically the life of a child and making a difference. That’s my reward.

I was going through some old photos the other day and came across this one—still one of the most challenging (and unforgettable) events I’ve ever produced.

We were brought in by Coty Fragrances to recreate their Paris launch of Rabanne “One Million” here in San Francisco—matching the set down to the exact specs, materials, and props. Every detail had to be exact.

We designed and built a custom “vault” to showcase the iconic gold emblem—precision-crafted over two months by a team of 12 skilled fabricators.

And then… the moment.

An original Paco Rabanne gold dress—flown in from Paris, constructed of layered metal and crystals—took center stage. Sculptural. Powerful. Completely mesmerizing.

It didn’t complement the brand—it defined it.
