Always great to work with pros
Loads of laughter and tears but they're we'd. Congratulations Alex and Stephen!!
I'm not entirely sure what the sunglasses connection was with Isabella & Rotimi but, I'm sure you'll agree, the accessory works well on both of them. Thanks to Michelle Alexandra Photography (https://michellealexandraphoto.com/) for the sneak peeks!
I'm a little bit country ...
I mean, come on, how beautiful is this?? Congratulations, Shirisha and Raj!!
Due to scheduling conflicts with SFFD, we weren't able to pull a fire permit for Sunday's event so I ordered three hot boxes for catering. Only catch was it was will-call only. No one can say Jessica Goldblatt doesn't get the job done! Box truck and three electric hot boxes secured. Thanks to the folks at Hensley Event Rentals for loading them up and securing them.
Did I mention the July journal was up and running? The photo of the couple in the VW bus by photographer Lynn Lewis was so "hella" cute, I had to use it in the posting
You may wonder what I mean by “very California” … I could actually be a little more specific and say a very San Francisco celebration. I am a native San Franciscan and when I look at the photos from Kerri & Sjimon’s wedding, they just scream San Francisco (or, as some might say, they’re .....
Second outfit, traditional Nigerian
As Billy Idol would say, it was a nice day for a white wedding
It's never too late and you're never too old to find love 💟
This New York couple is inspiring others to never give up on finding love
I had COVID last month, testing positive and with mild symptoms for about 2 weeks. In all likelihood, even though I have had 4 shots, never go anywhere without a mask on, and remain fully masked during all the events I do, I probably contracted COVID at my mid-July wedding. Later in the week, the couple needed to come by the office to collect the items I packed up at the end of the night. I loaded everything onto a cart, set it outside the office door, left the gate unlocked, and waited for them to come by. After they transferred everything to their car, the groom said he was sorry if I got COVID at their wedding (his father probably gave it to him, then me and the photographer) and that he was going to miss working with me since he called or texted nearly every day (we put their event together in about 3 months). He asked if he could take a picture of us "together" before they left as they were moving to Boston in a few weeks. Here's that photo😊
The groom had a little help with his proposal
Just waiting to start a rehearsal. 80° in Kenwood, meanwhile, it's sprinkling in San Francisco

'Once I got on the dance floor, I knew my boys had me. They just said, 'Don't worry. We've got you. We're not going to let you go.''
Many moons ago, while working an Indian fusion wedding, one of our assistants told me she wanted to marry an Indian man because she really wanted to have an Indian wedding (the bride's father and I tried to set her up that night with the bride's brother but, alas, it wasn't meant to be). If I haven't said it before, I love doing Indian weddings ...
I’ll be the first to say that I love Indian weddings. I love everything about them – the amazingly colorful clothing, the delicious food, the music and dancing, the sangeet, the baraat, the henna, all of it. Indian weddings are steeped in tradition and vary depending on the couple’s sect and w...
I wasn't able to do my wedding on July 23rd because I came down with COVID. Luckily (& thankfully) my amazing colleague, Jessica Franklin, was able to step in and she and day-of assistant, Jaclyn, killed it! And, if that wasn't awesome enough, Ranjan, with New Delhi, put together a care package for them to drop off. Thank you to Jessica, Jaclyn, and all the vendors for making Norma and Chayan's event a success!
Not only was it a pretty cake, but it was super tasty!
This is one of my favorite photos from my own wedding. Not 100% sure what our friend, Joel, was doing but it sure looks like he's having fun.
Why, exactly, hasn't anyone used this song when they're cutting the wedding cake?! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75bYDYLSP0o

With all the craziness we've had this year, I nearly forgot to share the amazing news that July 2022 is our 15th year in business!! We want to thank all the vendors we've worked with and all the clients who trusted us to help them with their events. Looking forward to many more years to come. 💟
A big congratulations to our very own, Michelle! So thrilled for you and Felix, you know we're here to help with the planning!
Nice clear night for a wedding
Hey, look, we're in the San Francisco Chronicle!
Recognize this couple? We did their micro-wedding in 2021 and were lucky enough to do their macro-one-year-anniversary in 2022!
Gotta keep those kids hydrated (especially considering how sweaty they all got playing laser tag!)
Fact - candy buffets at bar/bat mitzvahs last less than an hour.
How wonderful to get an email from Allison and Blake who got married three years ago in Berkeley. This year, along with celebrating their 3rd anniversary, they've welcomed Ava to their clan. Congratulations on the anniversary and new addition!!
Practically a perfect day for an outdoor ceremony at the General's Residence. Congratulations Katherine and Jason!
Geo cakes are still super in right now but I can't help seeing blue cheese 😁
How can you not have fun with a Second Line?! Congratulations Shelley and Andrew!
A lot of couples who aren't big cake eaters forgo a wedding cake (because you really should have something you yourself like to eat). But, if you're going to get a cake, it might as well be fabulous!
There’s so much prep to do before your wedding day. Picking up the perfect white dress is one of many tasks that come with getting hitched. But it’s not as simple as just picking something off the rack and hoping for perfection. Many of us hope to create a sparkly atmosphere with carefully chose...
When Rachael and Indy got married in 2021, I gave them a vintage Winnie-the-Pooh musical toy, the same one I still have from when I was a kid. In 2022, when we had their 1-year anniversary party, they brought along the toy to display at their Pooh themed event. 💟

Lovebirds Nancy Lubbers, 87, and Melvin Lubbers, 91, met at a skating rink and wed in 1952
A wonderfully wholesome story of two people incredibly in love and celebrating 70 years of marriage. Grab the tissues, you’re gonna need them.
