Nine years. ๐ซ
This year, more than any other, has reminded me just how much I LOVE what I do.
I love this little shop. I love the beautiful gowns we get to find and bring into it. I love meeting our brides, hearing their stories, helping them find something that feels like them, and then seeing the photos months later of one of the biggest days of their lives.
And maybe most of all, year 9 has made me realize how badly I want to keep growing, evolving and becoming better. Not just bigger, but better at what we do, better for our brides, and a place that continues to feel special for many, many years to come.
I work incredibly hard for this little dream of mine, but I definitely donโt do it alone. I have the most amazing team of women who care, work hard, show up for our brides and put so much of themselves into this shop. I am endlessly grateful for them.
To every bride who has trusted us, every designer who has trusted us with their work, every person who has told a friend about WildBride, and to my family, friends and partner who have supported me through all the highs, lows, long days and crazy ideas, thank you. Truly.
Nine years later, I still feel so lucky that this is what I get to do. And I think that is what Gibran meant when he wrote, โWork is love made visible.โ There is so much love in this place.
Happy 9 years, WildBride. โก
