Gimmie all the blush blooms, spring is here alright 😍
Showing love to a wedding from the archives! Our friends Nicole and Eric’s wedding had a number of special touches, though I do have to say, the taco feast inspired by their weekly Tacolicious date nights was the best of the best!

One of the most memorable moments of Brooke and Isaiah’s wedding was the reception reveal for guests. We had custom arbors built that were covered in vines and hung with twinkly glass bulbs that, once lit created an absolutely magical space.
Behind the scenes though was all of the members of the Wish team vigorously clicking their lighters to get all of them lit in time for the reception! Luckily one of our team members had a mini torch in his car which saved the day! A mini torch is now officially part of our event packlist.
It’s like you GET ME 🥺
When I first started Wish, I knew I wanted to work in weddings. Well, the wedding jobs didn’t exactly start rolling in right away. I remember wanting to have my hands in flowers so bad, I would put them anywhere anyone would let me, and before I knew it I was designing interior florals.
Back then I was so focused on growing in the events space that I didn’t even realize how much I was enjoying my day to day!
It’s funny, recently some opportunities to design interior florals have come my way again, seems pretty full circle. And I feel lucky to have these opportunities again. Florals circa 2012.
We’re always bummed when we can’t accommodate a wedding date, but overjoyed to refer clients to other talents in the flower community!
Below is a list of our go-to’s in no particular order:
Nicole Ha Design - Everything Nicole creates is absolute perfection. I have a flower crush on everything she does!
Flowers by Edgar - No one delivers drama like Edgar, no one. @raresparrow - Shannon has a true passion for flowers with an eye for unique and colorful floral palettes.
Hunt Littlefield - Custom welding skills, plus the most skilled and experienced floral team. Neil and Trina are a flower power couple.
@baldocchianddaughters - Terri will thoughtfully curate the look of your wedding with the same love she puts into her own daughters wedding. She has great taste and style.
Wallflower Design - I love Eleanor’s natural ease with florals. And if you want to know who does the gorgeous florals at Foreign Cinema, it’s her. Next time I am going to treat myself to flowers, I’m calling Eleanor.
Composed of hundreds of delphiniums in shades of crisp white and baby blue, each 3-4 foot tall stem was imported from Holland and arranged by expert hands. The most memorable part of this grand sea-inspired wedding was the ceremony aisle. Handcrafted by our floral dream team—Pico, Manuel, Yumi and David—every inch of the 25-foot-long aisle was given the highest level of design attention. It was, by far, one of the most magical floral moments the Wish team has ever created—a fitting promenade for an exquisite love story.
Hanging with clients during planning sessions is one of my fav parts of the job. Thank you for the kind words Megan and Josh!

They saved us every penny of their fee while delivering a better while delivering a better experience than we could have had on our own -making our San Francisco wedding and reception beautiful, memorable for all, and ridiculously fun." -Meghan and Josh
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
Growing up, my mom would always make a corned beef and cabbage dinner on St. Patrick’s Day to honor my Dad’s Irish heritage. But since she’s filipino, there was always rice. So, while I know some people will be scratching their heads at this, corned beef and rice is what I’ll be eating today — my childhood on a plate.
Looking for a less structured more whimsical wedding vibe?
The answer is in the baby's breath! Don’t count it out as “filler.”
Baby's breath is heavily featured in Brooke & Isaiah’s wedding. The micro buds makes it feel frothy and more airy. More organic than a manufactured experience, baby's breath makes the florals but also gives it secret garden vibes that are whimsical and soft.
As we embark on another busy wedding season, we’ve been thinking about what is on trend for 2022 and what is timeless.
For 2022: White will always be traditional and classic for wedding floral selections, but more and more brides are choosing to include color in their florals. Stay tuned for bright reds, corals, oranges and pink in the year to come!
Always Timeless: Greenery! Adding in greenery makes the space feel fresh and earthy. Plus, it always compliments your flowers 😉
I give you — Modern Secret Garden
And yes, it turned out more magical that we could have ever imagined!
Any wedding that Stacy from They So Loved Events calls me for, I just know is going to be stunning! Her designs are always tied together in the most elegant and editorial ways, I’m constantly surprised and delighted by her selections. Cue the luxe black velvet lace from La Tavola, it was cool, romantic and edgy — absolute perfection.
This coastal wedding could not have been more stunning for childhood sweethearts: Brooke and Isaiah. The seaside setting, provided by Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay, paired perfectly with a lavish 10 foot tall arbor adorned with lush greens and an assortment of white florals.
How it started…
My second wedding of all time was my best friend Tina and her now husband Tim. Circa October 2, 2011 Hotel Valencia.
Tina is the resident fashionista in my world so naturally everything was very chic with a black and white palette. Tina wore a silk ivory gown that felt luxurious and effortless. To compliment her bridal look, we selected a hand tied bouquet of black calla lilies.
The floral design inspiration came from the fountain that was front and center of the ceremony space. I had a vision of floating a floral burst out of the fountain, and wow was it stunning. Tina and Tim’s wedding is still one of my favorite floral projects of all time.
I still don’t know why Tina trusted me without any prior experience, but I’m so glad she did. The florals ended up being beautiful, but what the pictures don’t show was a stressed out me running around like a chicken with my head cut off! Every event I learn something new and I certainly don’t feel like I’ve learned everything, but looking back at this makes me realize how far I’ve come in my knowledge of flowers, weddings and events.
Not that anyone asked, but if someone asks…
Yes my inspo board for Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly’s wedding has been ready for weeks. 💅
I’m thinking the sexy boudoir ambiance of the Kiki de Montparnasse meets the offbeat vibe of the old supperclub with beds all around.
I always talk about how much I love my team, and today I want to talk about my Flower God Mother — Yumi. Yumi is a 2nd generation florist, whose family owned a floral shop right here in San Fran off of Fillmore. She worked with her mother and sister on everything from events both big and small, to celebrity interior florals, museum installs and event retail floristry.
Yumi and I first met in 2013 when our respective David’s were walking our dogs out on Rollins Road. They chatted and learned they both their significant others worked in florals AND whose studios were located across the street from each other. (I love that part of the story!) We had been neighbors for months, flowering away, none the wiser. When we finally met, it was flower love instantly. From then on, Yumi has dropped some serious flower knowledge on me. Everything from mechanics to conditioning flowers to the nitty gritty details of wiring blooms, I’ve learned it all from her. And I’m so incredibly grateful that she has passed her knowledge down to me. I won’t ever know everything, but I’m looking forward to one day paying it forward and sharing all that I have learned from her with someone else.

Newly engaged challenge!
Ok grab a piece of paper and a pen, jot down your answers and have your fiancé do the same (no sharing answers till the end!)
Close your eyes and picture your wedding day, what colors do you see?
What 3 words describe your personal style?
Write down something you absolutely want and one you absolutely don’t!
Now share with your fiancé to get the convo going. Before you run to Pinterest to plan your day, dream together! Communicating your personal style, likes and dislikes to your vendor team goes much further in helping them personalize YOUR wedding day, not the one you pinned. 😉

I created this company to give stylish women and men the experience I wanted as a bride. Because anyone can design a beautiful bouquet, but your wedding is a once-in-a-lifetime affair. This is not an everyday experience—and your floral design shouldn’t be, either.
At wish, we put so much love and care into everything we deliver. We strive to create a design experience that makes you feel special and unique. Because you are.
I also know that although you are busy, you’re seriously in love. You want to create an event that feels different than other weddings you’ve attended. And you want to surprise and delight your guests—to create an experience unlike anything they’ve seen before.
You are the reason I get so excited and absolutely love what I do. I cannot wait to build something amazing and customized just for you.
I love immersing myself in my clients’ personal style, then layering the look and feel of their love into their family traditions and rituals. From personalizing an intimate gathering at a family vineyard, to transforming a tennis court into an outdoor cinema, to honoring Brazilian tradition and arranging a beachside offering to the ocean, I’ve crafted events that range in size, scope, and complexity—but always evoke heart and soul.
I believe that magic comes in many forms. And the most magical weddings are the ones that look and feel like an authentic expression of the couple and their love for one another.
Walking the streets of San Francisco never fails to inspire me. I love nothing more than helping brides and grooms create their quintessential SF experience.
From architecture, art, and interior design, to family heirlooms and cultural traditions, from the scenery where you got engaged to your favorite t-shirt and jeans, I’m forever collecting ideas to bring the magic of your love to life.
Thank you for trusting me enough to consider wish as part of your celebration. I am so excited to learn more about you, and what your hopes and dreams are for your wedding.
With Love, Heather Cassady Martin
