A look for a k-drama. Korean beauty style empathizes on its minimalism and subtlety, using light, sheer textures and soft, pastel colors to enhance the natural features of the face. It is different than Chinese makeup or Japanese makeup styles.
*Chinese style: everything is more pronounced almost but not yet dramatic as TikTok makeup, such like redder eye shadow, cheeks, bolder aeygo sal and more Barbie lashes. Double eyelids transformation from monolids is a basic skill.
*Japanese style: cuter, brighter pink blush look such as Igari makeup got its futsukayoi/ flushed complexion.

Love often blooms online in the digital age. “Yes, we are one of those millennial stories,” Charles (Charlie) Langdon details his relationship with Vivi Nguyen. An initial lunch date blossomed into an entire afternoon of connection for the two, marking the beginning of a deep and meaningful bond. “Just five dates in, COVID lockdowns and quarantines changed everything,” Charlie reflects. “It was through these conversations that we got to really know each other, found out what we had similar core values and realized that we both wanted the same future.”
One day on the Oregon Coast, Charlie crafted a moment that would forever be etched in their hearts. For Vivi and Charlie’s wedding, we embraced a delightful fusion of cultures, transforming each part of their special day into a journey through different worlds. Our aim was to use the venue’s unique layout to create a series of pleasant surprises for the guests.
𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆: 𝗔 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
On the main floor, we set the stage for the ceremony with a nod to traditional church settings. A beautifully draped, long aisle offered a simple yet elegant welcome. We purposefully showed just a snippet of the main floor here, saving the full reveal for later to keep everyone guessing.
𝗖𝗼𝗰𝗸𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿: 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗺
Downstairs, for the cocktail hour, we brought the vibrant Lantern Festival from Vietnam to life. In collaboration with Got Light, we designed a custom structure to hang a kaleidoscope of colorful lanterns, crafting a cozy and magical atmosphere that transported guests to another world.
𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗢𝗽𝘂𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝗥𝗲𝗱, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱
Returning to the main floor for the reception, guests were greeted with a dramatically transformed space. The large bar and lavish floral decorations, expertly crafted by Devin and his team, served as the focal points. In contrast to the ceremony’s beige and gold palette, the reception dazzled in rich hues of purple, red, and gold, infusing the space with a sense of luxury and celebration. This vibrant color scheme perfectly encapsulated the fusion of cultures and the joyous spirit of the occasion.
Our goal was to make each part of Vivi and Charlie’s wedding not just a moment but an experience – a reflection of their unique story woven into the fabric of their celebration.
