Happy one month anniversary 10/10 S&A!🎊 We kept everything simple on the day with bride & 2 moms. The bride requested a light, no-makeup makeup style, as she mentioned having oily acne-prone skin with minor scarring. I fully understand her concerns, as I have a similar skin type. The bride’s eyes are beautiful and I would like to accentuate them. Her smile is particularly captivating!

Repost from Pizza on your wedding day? Hell yes. 🍕

S + A originally met while attending UC Berkeley, and their very first date was at on Telegraph Ave. So when they mentioned wanting to stop there for portraits on their wedding day, I couldn’t have loved the idea more!

It was the perfect break in the day — weddings can be long and full, and taking a moment to sit down, eat, and just breathe makes all the difference . We even grabbed a few photos at the same table where they had their first date 🥹

Afterwards, we wandered around campus for more portraits, soaking in all that Bay Area magic. We were blessed with a gorgeous sunset (can’t wait to share more photos!).

These two now live out of state, but coming back to The Bay Area for their wedding — and adding this stop at Sliver — made their day feel so personal and full circle. Plus… I mean, who’s ever going to complain about a pizza stop mid-wedding?

Repost• How could I not post this Halloween-adjacent wedding from last year?! We strolled around their neighborhood near Alamo Square after their City Hall wedding, so it couldn’t have been more meaningful, yet everyday.

For Sara & Chris‘ big day, they wanted to bring out the real them. They are people who favor the opposite of tradition and gender norms. There were mutual proposals, unconventional rings, and Sara in black, Chris in white.

My hope was that these photos not only captured such a momentous occasion in their lives, but also captured them as they are, with all their quirks, without wedding-washing the wedding day.

Been waiting almost a year to post these and I’m loving the season they‘re ushering in 🎃🦇🍃👻🍠🌃🕷️🍂😱🔮🐿️🍁🖤🕸️
