Four years after launching their first showcase, poetry me, please™ is the largest spoken word performance platform in New York, with a monthly audience of 400+. Founder Rashan Brown not only gives randomly selected poets a platform to showcase their gift, but also provides them with professional performance shots and two videos per poem to strengthen their portfolio with after the show. Brown's goal is to grow the spoken word poetry community as a whole, and that growth begins by nurturing the artists.
