Providing turn key floral solutions for luxury hotels and helping florists create consistent $5k months w/ hotel partnerships so they don’t have to depend on unstable wedding & event income.

You do not need to come from luxury to build a business that serves luxury clients.

I entered foster care at 12. I did not grow up vacationing in five-star hotels, learning about wealth, or watching people build sustainable businesses.

I had to learn all of it.

I had to learn how to lead differently.
How to trust and earn money.
How to build something that supported my life instead of consuming it.

For a long time, I only shared the successful part of the story because I thought that was what people wanted to hear.

But the success means more when you understand where it started.

Your past may have shaped you, but it does not get to decide which rooms you belong in, which clients you can serve, or what you are capable of building.

In this episode of Mornings with Mayesh, we talk about creating consistent income, building recurring revenue, moving beyond the wedding-only cycle, and becoming profitable—not simply busy.

Because you do not have to have seen it before to become the person who builds it.

What if the hotel says no?

But also…what if they say yes?

What if one conversation leads to a recurring contract that finally gives your floral business breathing room?

Too many florists stay busy chasing smaller, one-time clients because it feels safer than pitching the larger opportunity. But constantly replacing yesterday’s sale with tomorrow’s sale is exactly what creates the burnout you’re trying to escape.

Consistent income requires you to stop treating rejection like proof that you’re not ready.

A no is information.
A no is practice.
A no can move you closer to the client who is ready to say yes.

In this week’s Friday Podcast Feature, Franceska shares how she pushed through rejection—from her first business in the cigar industry to building a profitable floral business supported by recurring hotel contracts.

Your yes may be sitting on the other side of several no’s. You still have to be willing to ask.

You don’t need more weddings. You need more ways to get paid.

There comes a point where planning starts to look a lot like hiding.

You can keep tweaking the offer, waiting for the perfect portfolio and convincing yourself you need one more sign—or you can decide your business deserves to be taken seriously now.

The florists who grow aren’t always the ones with the most resources. They’re often the ones willing to make the first move before the outcome feels guaranteed.

That might mean walking into the room, proposing the idea, investing in support or creating proof before anyone gives you permission.

Not every move will be comfortable.

But staying exactly where you are has a cost, too.

You do not need a complicated backend for clients you haven’t landed yet.

Too many florists are spending their time building SOPs, researching CRMs, planning a future team, and trying to solve operational problems that do not exist yet.

Meanwhile, the spreadsheet of potential clients is untouched.

The follow-ups have not been sent.

The phone calls have not been made.

And the hotels still do not know your name.

My philosophy? Get the buffet. Then figure out how to eat it.

Land the clients. Create the demand. Let the revenue show you what support, systems, and team members your business actually needs.

You are not supposed to know exactly how to manage ten recurring accounts while you are still working toward account number one.

Your job today is business development.

The systems come as you grow.

In my conversation with The Flowery Folk, we’re talking about embracing the uncertainty, taking yourself seriously as a business owner, and focusing on the work that actually creates revenue.
