🥗 This Compressed Watermelon and Tomato Salad includes sheep’s milk feta, serpent cucumber, Sweet 100 cherry tomatoes, pickled torpedo onion, and torn mint, tossed in a smoky pepper vinaigrette. Compressing the watermelon gives it a more intense flavor, with the texture becoming firmer while retaining a silky bite.

Our team loved creating a multi-day menu that fed the team during a three day event at the Children’s Creativity Museum of San Francisco. We think the unique space inspired us to have a little extra fun! Lunches and snack breaks were full of healthy options to keep attendees feeling upbeat and excited about the program.

Some of our featured favorites from this menu included:

Kobe Beef Sliders - green garlic aioli, fried shallots, tallegio cheese, toasted brioche round served on a bed of seasonal floral blooms

Arash and Hasti’s guests enjoyed this picturesque salad including wild arugula, local burrata, toasted pistachio, nasturtium, and a ginger-black pepper vinaigrette. Our client shared his art as a jumping-off point, and our team ran with it, designing a colorful, playful spread that nodded to his deliciously iconic style. A true celebration of art and appetite!

Fiddlers Green Farm is one of our go to stands at the Marin Farmers Market, especially for spring produce like fava beans, english peas, & artichokes 🫛

Based in Yolo County, FGF has been a CCOF Certified Organic farm since 1982, making it one of the oldest organic farms in California. Jim Eldon and Julie Rose are the third owners of this 30+ acre legacy farm, and since 1991 have stewarded this fertile plot of land, focusing on vending to their community via farmers markets and CSAs. The original owners took inspiration from their Irish heritage when they named the farm, referencing the 19th-century maritime folklore of a sailor’s version of heaven, Fiddler’s Green.

Today we’re shining our spotlight on Kim, our incredible Facilities Manager. Originally from Sacramento, Kim moved to San Francisco over two decades ago to attend SFAI, where she studied interior design. Since then, she has built a dynamic career spanning event production, experiential art installations, and venue management.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
At BZC, Kim oversees all aspects of facilities management. Her responsibilities range from pack outs to equipment maintenance to safety compliance and event logistics. With her background in interior design, she is deeply committed to maintaining a functional kitchen and warehouse space that allows our team to focus on their craft. Kim has also been spearheading our soon to be announced 🤫 SF Green Business (re)Certification–thank you, Kim! 🌱

Outside of work, Kim is an avid traveler, live music enthusiast, and art lover. She enjoys exploring San Francisco’s vibrant arts scene, attending gallery openings, and discovering new music venues.
