In a world where Whiteness has historically been centered as the epitome of beauty, this image boldly asserts the beauty and elegance inherent in Blackness and challenges conventional beauty standards by presenting a stunning Black woman adorned with long hair, evoking the iconic imagery of Black Eve. The subject’s confidence and grace radiate from the photograph, subverting stereotypes and reclaiming agency over representations of Black femininity.

The deliberate choice to emulate the aesthetic of Black Eve speaks to a desire to celebrate and uplift Black identity in a society that too often marginalizes it. By reclaiming and reimagining this cultural icon through the lens of Blackness, we challenge viewers to expand their perceptions of beauty and confront the ingrained biases that exist in the pervasive influence of Eurocentric ideals.

We invite you to participate in a collective reimagining of beauty that embraces and celebrates the full spectrum of human diversity.

Someone complained that we weren’t posting enough photos…how’s this? 😎

This moment will go down as one of the most important memories of my life. Meeting our child’s namesake, my birthday twin and my forever president and having the chance to speak with him and tell him those things, to watch him interact with the room and to hear him speak in an intimate setting just before the election was the ultimate gift. What a beautifully transformative year we had.

Missing you now more than ever wish you could save us.

Thank you for the images you are GOAT always. you changed our lives forever and we love you and the whole beautiful team 🥹

So much to reflect back on and look forward to, but for now I’m taking it slow, letting my brain, my soul and heart get some rest. 2024 was fu***ng transformative and I have deep gratitude. And also deep gratitude for this moment here, for this time in Herstory where we as a team lived deep in a world where good prevailed over evil, where Harris - Walz won the presidency and where we spent hours upon hours in space with like minded people who believed in the same beautiful future. That was such a special time and so many new friends were made - like my girl .cohen (thanks so much for this pic boo!)

I have found my way into excitement for a new year and for the collective future of my community- but the doubt, dread and fear of what the cost will be for the horrendous man child in office is never far behind.

Sending love and hope from the depths of my soul. I hope that you are living in your passion and your truth because we have a lot of work to do friends 🤍
