In good company.

2019 was an incredible year for Stag. In our 9th year of business we got to open our first venue, Cerf Club, while continuing to grow our events business. What has kept us going from the beginning has been a sense of collaboration. And it’s the hard work, dedication, creativity and camaraderie of this industry that provides us inspiration. We were very fortunate to partner with some of the biggest names in our industry this past year and feel incredibly blessed by the opportunity. In 2020, we will be bringing the same spirit that got us here in the first place. We look forward to cooking for our friends new and old and are excited to see what great things will come.

All of us at Stag Dining Group are pleased to once again be teaming up with our friends at Clos Du Val for an enchanted, seasonally inspired spring supper amongst the vines. ⁣⁣

Clos Du Val has been making exceptional wine in the heart of the Legendary Stag's Leap AVA for over 45 years. In addition to producing some of the very best wines in Napa Valley, they also hold the unique distinction of producing one of the American wines that competed in the infamous 1976 "Judgement of Paris" wine competition. That same inaugural Cabernet Sauvignon would go on to place first in the 1986 rematch.⁣⁣

Presently, Clos Du Val is in year 3 of an organic farming overhaul to their entire growing operation. We're truly inspired to see one of the original trailblazers of Napa Valley continuing their evolution and attention to quality and finding a balance with nature. ⁣⁣

On Wednesday, May 1st, Cerf Club is pleased to welcome our friends Sarah & Evan Rich of Rich Table for a dinner featuring recipes from the RT cookbook. We invite you to dine with us in what will be a fun and intimate evening with Q&A.⁣⁣⁣

Stag Dining Chefs Jordan Grosser and Ted Fleury will work hand in hand with the Rich Table team to create a family style, wine paired dinner directly from the book. Cerf Club will be providing some of our recently released to pair with the dinner. Each diner has the opportunity to walk away with a signed copy of the cookbook, and of course get to discuss the recipes directly with the chefs and ask questions of their cookbook collaborators writer Carolyn Warsham & photographer Alanna Hale.⁣⁣⁣

Can’t believe it’s been an entire year since our first gathering at Cerf Club to celebrate our dear friend Danny Nguyen! It was a night of festivity, of reunion (our pal Aloe Blacc made a guest appearance), and of incredible food and wine.

Chris Christensen (Winemaker and Co-Head Honcho, Bodkin Wines) is an acclaimed winemaker and hunting buddy of Stag's president Matthew Homyak. Chris is a trail-blazer in the the wine industry as one of very few biracial winemakers. His path and story as a creative and charismatic winemaker serves as a blueprint for other young winemakers, having started a project without the capital and resources to have his own estate. Chris was named one of 2017 Winemakers to watch out for by the SF Chronicle.
Beyond partnering on palate-pleasing dining events, Bodkin and Stag Dining have grown their relationship–and Stag’s offering–by collaborating on Stag’s own wine label, Cerf Club. @ Cerf Club
