Save this if you’re planning a wedding

Officiants are the lowest paid wedding vendor. They are typically the last to be hired. They are often replaced by a relative or friend because it’s “cheaper” or because many think we just stand and read. In truth, officiants are the only wedding vendor who can marry you, we set the tone for the rest of your wedding and the right officiant will have you and your guests speaking about your ceremony for years after you say “I do.”

San Francisco City Hall, from an officiant 🤍

in case you’re thinking of SF City Hall as a wedding venue, here’s a list of what I love and don’t love about each floor. Most of my weddings this year are at this gorgeous venue, so I spend a lot of time here. Pro tip: get your marriage license at SF county, that way your officiant can just walk it down to the 1st floor after your ceremony versus mailing it.
