Hey everybody!
I wanted to say what an honor it was to once again be in the top 3 at the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist competition. Being up there with so many talented entertainers is truly amazing, everybody did a fantastic job. HUGE congratulations to my friend Emilio Santoro for bringing home the big win, you are absolutely world class! Also congratulations to another good friend of mine, Louis Brown, on his runner up finish. Nothing but love, respect and admiration for you both!
With all that being said, I’ve made the decision that this was the last time I will compete in the Ultimate. This was something I decided even before the competition started. This is a personal decision for me that has nothing to do with results or anything. I have accomplished everything I’ve wanted to do, I have nothing left to prove. Every year I have been in the Ultimate has been more stressful and anxiety filled than the last. It’s put a strain on my personal life and my health. No title is worth that to me. Each year I have also found myself thinking more about what I can do to make 4 judges like me than thinking about Elvis when I’m on the stage. That isn’t why I got into this business and something that I would never want to happen.
My ultimate goal is to bring an authentic representation of Elvis on stage and I have nothing left to prove because I know I do that. Thank you so much to everyone for the support these last few years in the Ultimate. It means the world to me, I can’t wait to continue seeing you all at shows and festivals all around the world!
