Emotional Outdoor Wedding in San Diego

Incredible California Coastal Wedding in Rancho Palos Verdes

In 10 years of filming weddings this is hands down the most beautiful location for a church that I've come across! I was lucky to film the wedding of two of the kindest humans I've met, such a perfect day. Fun fact about Robin: her handwriting looks like she typed it on a computer, and she writes the nicest thank you notes. And Chris, well, if you're in need of drafting up a contract he's your guy! It was a pleasure, and I'm so excited to share your video!

Classic Black Tie Wedding at Rancho Santa Fe Golf Club

Tall, confident, loud, dramatic, stunning, dynamite, unstoppable force...all these words were used by her family and friends to describe Rose. I would have to agree! When I met with Rose and her mom Rainey they showed me where all the events were to take place. They had a very clear picture of what they wanted before the wedding, and as they say - confidence inspires confidence. We felt great going into their day knowing there was no suprise or stone unturned, and that they hired a great planning team with Before I Do Events to execute their vision. Needless to say the entire day was a blast, their whole family was amazing to be around and we're so excited to share Rose and John's video! Before I sign off I just gotta say, seriously impressed by John and how he nailed his vows without any notes. Nice job John. And now onto the video!

High School Sweethearts Tie the Knot

Happy Thanksgiving! I'm thankful for a career where I get to capture such a special time in peoples' lives as they join their families together. Today we have a touching story of high school sweethearts who made the decision at 18 years old to do a long distance relationship 3,000 miles apart. I'm pretty sure at age 18 my biggest decision was what video game I was going to play that day, so the fact that they were able to make this decision and follow through with it is truly remarkable. Hope everyone has a meaningful time with friends and family and enjoy Kailyn & Garrett's film!

Tristan & Brian | Beautiful and Emotional California Wedding Film

"Brian, your job is not to replace Eddie, rather you have been entrusted to care for these four amazing women that he has left behind." These words spoken by Ryan Sey, Lead Chaplain at Rady Children's Hospital and officiant at Tristan and Brian's wedding, were part of a beautiful ceremony full of emotion. It's safe to say there wasn't a dry eye, nor a face without a smile.

Last year I received an inquiry from Tristan about her upcoming wedding. The message she wrote left me speechless - "Brian & I met two years ago in March online. Back in 2013, my husband was killed in a car accident on his way to work, leaving me with our three young daughters. I never thought I'd be lucky enough to have a second chance at love & doubted I'd be able to find someone that be able to come into our lives and be what the girls and I needed. Boy was I wrong. To say Brian is amazing is an understatement. He loves not only me, but the girls so fierce and completely. He never tried to fill Eddie's shoes, he just brings his own perfect shoes to the table. He has two great kids of his own & we can't wait to blend our families together. We would love for you to capture our special day & tell this story for us :)"

It truly was an amazing day, here is their story!

Kristi & Drew - L'Auberge Wedding Video

Can you feel the fresh ocean breeze? One of my favorite parts of creating wedding films is creating an ambience, a feeling, an experience. A big part of that creative process is layering in ambient sound such as ocean waves crashing, birds chirping, and wind gently rustling through the leaves. It's very subtle, but matters so much! Like most things in filmmaking, it's the things you don't notice that make the biggest impact. I hope you enjoy taking a peek at Kristi and Drew's wedding and can take away just a little bit of the joy they shared that day.

Hana & Max - Kaieteur Falls, Guyana - South America Destinatio...

So this is hands down the most epic location I've ever filmed in! Earlier this year I had the chance to fly down to South America - Georgetown, Guyana to be exact - and capture Hana & Max's wedding celebration. The house where the wedding took place was jaw-dropping to say the least, but the trip to the waterfall really stole the show! The amazing scenery paired with our gorgeous couple was like a dream come true. While epic scenery is always exciting and great, you still need substance for a successful film and the speeches really delivered that. Thanks to all the wonderful people and vendors that we had the chance to meet there! Special shout out to our driver and tour guide Waja!

MIchael & Julie - Lomas Santa Fe Country Club

As the year is coming to a close we experienced a huge first as a company last month. We had the privilege of being not only the official videographers, but also the photographers at the wedding of Julie and Mike. Yep, that's right, we handled all the visuals as a single crew! We were really nervous since it was our first one like this, but everything turned out great. It helped having such a cool couple to work with, Julie and Mike are officially rock stars. Tatum & Bryan {Highlight}

I keep saying this but I can't believe I live here! San Diego is such a beautiful city. I was reminded of this yet again as I put together Tatum & Bryan's wedding Highlight. Their wedding was held at the Lodge at Torrey Pines, overlooking the world renowned cliffside golf course. I'm not an avid golfer, but even I know this place is a pretty big deal. The beautiful scenery was a perfect compliment to Tatum, an absolutely stunning bride. I was loving the portrait shots we captured of the two of them, they made our job very easy! Even more importantly, they are some of the most kind, just overall cool people we've had the pleasure of working with. Wishing you guys nothing but the best, cheers!

Laura & Min {Same Day Premiere}

We've been on quite the roll with Same Day Premieres in consecutive weeks! This past week we were capturing magical views on the cliffs of Palos Verdes at the lovely wedding of Laura & Min. There were definitely many "wow" moments throughout the day but our favorite came during the portrait session at sunset. Min was just a little bit excited about our aerial coverage and we made sure to fly above the cliffs while filming the happy couple taking a stroll along the bluff. Beautiful!

I have to mention the jaw-dropping reception space put together by Alicia with Details Details, Dodie with White Lilac Inc, and Amber Event Productions. What a fantastic team of talents! We also had a wonderful time working with Samuel Lippke Studios (sorry for stealing your bag!). Thanks to my hired guns for helping me pull off another successful premiere - Matthew Forrey of Forrey Films and Jason Shelton of Rayne Films.

Joyce & Jae {Highlight}

Last year we checked Florida off our list of states we have filmed weddings in! We didn't see any gators (unless you count the statues at the Polo Club) but we did get a crazy rain storm! Well, crazy by California standards anyway. Thanks to some creative problem solving by Brianne with Unbridled wedding & events the reception space remained dry and everyone had a blast. Don't worry - no wedding guests were drenched in the making of this film.

We absolutely loved the green ceiling over the dance floor! The whole wedding had such great design and sweet little details everywhere you looked. Even more impressive is all the design and planning was handled none other than the lovely bride Joyce! She just launched her own event design brand - Joyce & Ko Events based in NYC. Welcome to the wedding world and best of luck to her in this new endeavor! You and Jae were a pleasure to work with and maybe we'll see you again soon! (you know we're up for a wedding adventure in the Big Apple!)
