In this reel, I directed a playful on-camera tour of this Carole Wylie designed home, starting with the owner, then agents Lori and Kim popping up throughout the house before wrapping it all up with a cheers�.

We’re back in the frame 👋
Well... we never really left! We just shifted our creative outlet over the past few years. Our energy has been centered on residential exterior design work, which is still ongoing and incredibly rewarding.

But 2025 has naturally brought us back into the world of photography and media and it feels right. We’ve missed the pace, the people, and the creativity, and we’re excited to reintroduce Sutography with a refreshed direction.
While this feed is full of the ❤️ love stories we captured over the years, Sutography is now focused on real estate, branding, and visual content. We’re endlessly grateful for the incredible couples we photographed and now, we’re excited to tell new stories in a new way.

Usually when we meet couples it is after they are engaged and planning for their big day BUT everyone once in a while we are honored to be part of the proposal planning and surprise!
We started talking with Heidi a couple months ago about her surprise bonfire proposal to Loydeen at the Bahia Resort.

From the start we had so much fun brainstorming together and you could feel her love beaming to have this once in a lifetime moment all come together. The anticipation was like electricity in the air as their children and close friends that had not seen since the pandemic awaited their arrival. At last, we all saw the "soon to be engaged couple" walking down the boardwalk towards the bonfires, Loydeen having no idea what was about to happen. After a few moments of shock and taking in their loved ones, Heidi shared her heart and asked Loydeen to marry her.

As photographers and videographers we are so grateful to be witnesses to this type of love and joy. 2020 and 2021 have thrown us some curve balls to say the least, and to end the year with a surprise like this was truly serendipitous. Cheers to following your heart and being surrounded by the ones we love!

Why does a bride carry a bouquet of flowers... well first of all because they are beautiful, right? 💐
But we love knowing where traditions were born and bouquets have a few legacies of their own.

In Roman times the flowers symbolized new beginnings, fidelity and hope of fertility.

In the middle ages, strong-smelling herbs and spices were believed to fight off evil spirits, bad luck, ill health and help mask body odor (yikes).

Most popular though is the Victorian age, when Queen Victoria married Prince Albert, she carried a tussie-mussie (a tiny round clutch of flowers). 💗Lovers often sent different flowers to express their love and each flower meant something a little different. Including flowers at the wedding helped to connect this special flower sharing to their future. This was the bride’s “flower” for the rest of her life.

We absolutely LOVE bouquets!!! The bouquet gives the bride a beautiful prop to play with and flowers will actually compliment the figure in so many ways.

A beauty to doing what we do is having the ability to relive our couples anytime we need some hope and joy. We lived the moments right along side of them. We aren’t there simply just to take photos or record video, we are there to listen and take in the magic of their day, capturing lifelong memories for them and realizing over the years that we have created life long memories for ourselves too.
