It’s the day after Mother’s Day, and my heart is still caught up in the beauty of it all.
A single Sunday could never contain the vastness of what it means to mother.
For over a decade now, I’ve had the deep honor of photographing mothers—at their most ordinary, their most radiant, their most weary and wondrous. I’ve captured first days and wrinkled hands, tears and laughter, hands held tightly and arms outstretched.
I’ve watched love unfold in whispers and belly laughs. I’ve seen strength that is quiet, soft, and utterly indomitable.
And it has been one of the great privileges of my life.
To every mother who has let me into your world, thank you. Your tenderness, your courage, your sacred everyday work—it matters. It deserves to be seen and remembered.
Motherhood is not a single moment. It’s a lifetime of them. And I’ll keep showing up to tell that story—again and again—with reverence, gratitude, and my whole heart.
Always.
