Some moments don’t just make noise...they echo. When Play’n For Keeps stood straight up in this wheelie at the Del Mar fair, the crowd simply roared! But for those who knew, it was something deeper. That truck was reaching skyward for John Borba. Flags with his name and picture whipped in the wind, but it was the trucks and the people behind them that carried his spirit forward. Full Contact Racing turned the San Diego County Fair into a tribute, not just a show. It was powerful. And it was personal. To the Canedo family - thank you for making sure the jumps were high and wheelies kept coming. For reminding us that even though John’s gone, the love he poured into this sport still flies high. This was our 1st time seeing demolition derby for kids and the smiles went on for miles! SO adorable!

For our FCR crew, racing has been and always will be a family event. We enjoy sharing these moments with family, and having all of our competitors enjoy the event with their families as well.
For this reason, we make every effort possible to not only have an event for the kids, like our PowerWheel Derbies, but to put the same effort into them as we do the big car classes, cause the derby kids are AWESOME!
