Today marks TEN YEARS since my first wedding on my own. Kristana Marie Events has been such an incredible journey. I've learned so much, have worked with such amazing people, have changed and grown, have found my voice, and have really made my dreams come true. I cannot believe it's been 10 years, but today I am PROUD. Thank you to all of the couples who have worked with us over the years, for the vendors who helped bring it all together, and to my best girl Kendra for keeping our clients taken care of while I settle in with my babies. Beyond grateful for you all! 💕🥂

Some of my favorite venues are the ones that are NEAR the water but not on it. You can still have a garden feel for your wedding but have the option to sneak away for some gorgeous beach photos at sunset. Best of both worlds. 🤍 📷:

December is one of my favorite months. I love the feel of the holiday season, but also love that San Diego still has beautiful sunny days to soak up. I love rain and snow, but don't think I could do it everyday. I'll take our socal winters where you put on your cute sweater (because tis the season right?) And proceed to sweat your b***y off until the sun goes down. Other places have a much more definitive wedding season, but we are so lucky that you can really have a wedding in San Diego all year round. 🤍 🎄

Wishing a very happy birthday to my right hand girl, Kendra! 🎉 Kendra has been a part of Kristana Marie Events for many years, basically since the very beginning! She is one of the kindest, most hard working people I know and I truly love and appreciate her so much. As I prepare to move into this next stage of motherhood with 2 young littles, Kendra is taking lead on all of our weddings, so I can really soak up this fleeting time and be as present as possible for my babies. The love and trust I have for her is unmatched, and every couple and vendor that works with her is just as blown away by her as I always have been. She brings to the table so, so much. And I'm just honored to have her at my table. Can't wait to cheers you with a nice glass of rosé as soon as this baby vacates my body. Love you so much! Hope today is as magical as you deserve. 🥂💖

I've been a bit quiet on social media lately and now I can finally share why. We are expecting baby #2! And it's a GIRL!💖. This photo is from when I was pregnant with my son, and I'm excited to close out this wedding season with my belly bump once again. She is due the day after my son's birthday so January will certainly be an extra special month for us over here. We are so excited! 🎀

My fave part about weddings is that every one is different. The couple, the vision, the relationship dynamic, the family, the friends, the budget, the priorities, the design, the vibe, the energy. Every wedding is unique. You can have 2 weddings with the same vendors at the same venue that will still feel completely different. You can have a timeline that follows the same basic flow but the vibe of the days are totally opposite. It's so fun figuring out what best suits a couple and bringing that to life! Seeing them enjoy their own unique, tailored to them, version of a wedding is so special and exciting. Be authentic in your choices for your wedding day, make sure they align with the wedding YOU want, and you will be endlessly happy. 🥰
