📸 New photoshoots incoming! First of three vignette series posts to say hi and bring the mustache back to your feed.

August is busy, busy, busy for me — peak wedding season and more intense than any year before, with new 2021 couples throwing energy-packed bashes and rescheduled "covid couples" of 2020 happy to finally celebrate the journey a few years in the making. I'm feelin myself again, racing along with several creative new entertainment hybrid services that elevate and further personalize each experience. Despite toeing the line between burnout and creative explosivity, I couldn't be happier!

A series of smashing weddings coming up in SD, Malibu, Breckenridge, Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, and opportunities abound in both impromptu and future performances, creative collaborations, and business expansion!!

🌴 Palm Springs is HOT/HAUTE 🌴
Needed a little change of scenery to fight the creative blocks in my life recently, brought upon by the chaotic landscape I'm navigating in my music & party-focused business. 🎶☠️🎶
2020 was the best year I • would have • had as a business owner, with so many dope new services and expansions underway; naturally, it's all been sidelined. I've moved dozens of local & destination weddings into next year, had a few cancel, and yet I'm gratefully still connecting with amazing new engaged couples to fill the gaps in my 2021 calendar (and '22 is wide open!). I'm still preparing to launch something big and unique to my company, but under wraps for now. 🤫
Coming out to Palm Springs feels like a tiny vacation from the chaos. I love the desert in its sheer beauty and omnipresence. It's impossible to ignore and magnificent to behold. The vastness, the solitude, the desolation, a sense of real peace. Working poolside is pretty dope too, even in 112°F/45°C heat. Usually I'm traveling the world July thru October, so the travel bug has been strong lately.

YES, by client request only for now, in all its uncensored, ratchet glory! I'm not the FCC — I don't play edits. 90% of my clients aren't prude, nor worried about upsetting prude guests. They NEED the real song. They NEED to unleash that inner bad self sometimes. And most of all, they TRUST ME to tastefully execute if the moment strikes, for maximum dance frenzy & ecstatic reactions. Sure it's a blatant, unashamed, crude, crass, and generally trashy tune. It's 2020. Time to unleash the new you. Lighten up, let loose a bit, and unleash the flood (of energy) as this song reverberates through your body down to your toes.

FEATURED // Once again on ! 😍 You guys: this wedding is one of my FAVORITE; a dreamy, movie-like night of romantic celebration for .magick & at Wolf Feather Honey Farm. I can't stress enough just how cool this was to perform & experience!

I love couples who ditch tradition to create a unique party-meets-wedding experience for their friends, family, and tribes. Combining cultures, changing timelines around, and emphasizing inclusiveness throughout the night is what makes for a true celebration. I & C decided to start the cocktail party & dinner off at one location, then we whisked away guests to a NIGHTTIME ceremony under a dark sky of the New Moon!!! 🌑 As you see here, it was breathtakingly dreamy, almost like a surreal play, and for the moment, I mixed a soundtrack of romantic, upbeat, moon-themed music. They walked in to Miki Ratsula's "Sweet Disposition". The ceremony itself literally brought me to tears from how damn romantic it was. Then their friend performed a solo dance in their honor before the couple performed a beautifully choreographed first dance of their own to Louis Armstrong's "La Vie en Rose" 🌹. The couple also did a sparkler exit to Buffy the Vampire Slayer theme! Heading back to the barn reception area, there were so many amazing moments of dancing, singing, donut truck eats and partying in epic fashion. I closed out the night with a piano performance of Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" (note the last photo of me hamming it up 🎹). I'll be interviewing them for a more detailed blog post, and I'll share it with you soon! What do you guys think??

YAY!!!! I've been featured again on another one of the biggest & coolest wedding blogs in America for one of my amazing couples. They had a nighttime, new moon ceremony that looks straight out of a movie, plus insane, award-winning dance moves — the groom being a national salsa champion of Turkey — and we closed out the night with me playing Bohemian Rhapsody live on piano as all the guests sung in unison. I am wholeheartedly surprised and grateful of the acknowledgement. I'm blessed to be able to party with some undeniably creative & cool cats!

FEATURED // Gratefully up on today for D+M's uniquely stylized & insanely fun winter wedding!

I love this couple and everything about their wedding day, from unexpectedly (& almost literally) running into them while drunk on ale & turkey legs at the Renaissance Faire months beforehand, to surprise Jedis donning lightsabers at their Ceremony, to the pre-wedding workout hauling 800+ lbs of music & lighting gear long distances (with huge help from ), to the realization of a mere sheet of glass being the only thing separating tigers 🐅 & us during the danceparty, while someone executed *perfect* Napoleon Dynamite moves to . Truly epic.

So...I have a huge announcement! I was just featured on RuffledBlog with some amazing creatives for Dan & Molly's wedding at San Diego Zoo Safari Park!! A Jurassic-chic style wedding, and we partied DOWN. Featuring all the creative & cool vibes—Jedis at the ceremony, a perfect Napoleon Dynamite dancer, animal interactions. Sooo stoked on this!!

This wedding at San Diego Zoo Safari Park is what we call Jurassic Park chic! With wild florals in blues and oranges and modern details, we're in love.

A THANK YOU CARD!!! 😭 This made my day.

Rich and Lindsay are amazing as individuals and together as a tour de force in this world.

They met working at back in the day, shortly after I met Rich working together at .

Yes, many years ago I was a camera operator filming those overly intelligent, majestic AF beings doing what I assume they perceive as annoyingly basic behaviors like breaching & launching humans off their snouts for deliciously endless sashimi. Or something. 🐋🐳

I was also DJing weddings & parties during those college years, before I ever thought about making it a real business and career, and had just started a pirate-themed punk rock & folk band with a rag tag bunch of friends! ☠️🎶

When L&R asked me to be the partymaker, the soul of the music and vibe creation, I was beyond thrilled.

We danced hard, basked in the strong aura of love that reverberated through the night at back in January. You could feel energy in the air.

It's an addicting, intangible experience that I live for in bringing a live performance as a solo artist & event director. We danced and sang and laughed, and I want it all to happen again! Maybe for an anniversary 😉 Thank you so much again and stay healthy & safe!! ❤️🙌🏻

Small business owners, creative and hard-working people who had the crazy idea to follow their passions and make magic happen for people over and over again. The team you curate to build experiences and capture just a sliver of joy in this beautifully complex world. We have been equally hard-hit right alongside so many couples and clients. We've been emotionally sidelined not being able to party with people since March, but we'll stay strong and resilient and supportive so everyone can get through this and we're able to celebrate again!
