This week I have been working on a couple of staging projects.. consulted on a large fund-raiser for a private school in Portland, working on a few custom dried/artificial arrangements.. then will be teaching a Wreath Making Class for the Garden Club.. Sure to be fun, and educational, as the process of wreath making translates to all types, seasonal and sizes.. I'll be bring some beautiful ribbons.. some "French Wired Silk".. some valued up to $50 a roll.. all will be priced from $3.-5.00 a roll.. there may still be space.. at the Library at 10.30am.. I will be out of town from this Friday, Oct 25 through Monday, November 4.. Then I will be in full swing.. preparing for the Holidays.. I will be running a special Thanksgiving Centerpiece with awesome flowers, orchids, roses, sedum, berries, in a nice mixture of Fall colours.. and with candles! delivered within Columbia County for $25,.. and to greater Portland for $30. this represents a 50%-60% savings.. I will make the deliveries the two days before Thanksgiving.. for an additional $5. it can be delivered Thursday morning, on Thanksgiving Day.. why not add on a Snack or Gourmet Baskets.. starting at $30 delivered..

Just had a delivery request.. 25 long stem, premium, red roses in a nice vase, 3 mylar balloons.. delivered to Wilsonville.. ( that is almost 100 miles round trip..) and the sender requested it be there by 9am.. Great!!!! no problem.. However, his budget, basing it on the prices from 1(800)Flowers and ProFlowers.. $25. total.. Hmmm... sorry.. I quoted him $60. total.. Fair??
