It’s Monday, let’s check in 🖤✨

It’s so common to have that “start of the week” anxious and overwhelmed feeling. You probably feel like your lists are a mile long, and you’ve got a long day ahead of you. That “Case of the Monday’s” is usually caused by those feelings and creates that pre-determined sh*tty Monday before it even starts. So this week, let’s try to nip that in the bud, and start off healthy!

Step 1, have a large glass of water before any coffee, take a small walk if you have time, and wash your face. You’ll feel more awake, maybe even like you don’t need as much coffee. Caffeine enhances those anxious moments we are trying to get rid of!

Step 2, take the 3 most important things on your to-do list, and the 3 that you’ve been putting off the longest. Accomplish 1-2 of those items a day. No more, no less. Accomplishment without pressure!

Step 3, give yourself permission to rest. Your brain won’t think properly if you’re forcing yourself to be exhausted all the time in the name of productivity. Give your best and when you can’t anymore, walk away. Otherwise it’s just a waste of your limited time and energy.
