It's a celebration that's been 25 years in the making! Steve will be renewing Christine and Tom's wedding vows in May. He married them in 1992, and in 2017 they'll say "I do" again, in the same spot with the same wedding officiant! They currently live in Austin, but will be traveling to Seattle this Spring to celebrate a wonderful milestone in their life.

FROM THE WAY BACK MACHINE! On May 22, 1992, Mister Steve married Christine & Tom. Fast forward TWENTY FIVE YEARS LATER... Steve has been asked to perform their reaffirmation in the very same spot! Over looking the Space Needle in Seattle, Washington. Christine contacted Steve a few months back, and on May 22, 2017 Steve will be perform their reaffirmation ceremony. We'll be in San Diego this very June 2017 and Rev Steve is excited to be performing wedding ceremonies in the San Diego metro area. He's married over 3500 couples in the last 30 years! His most popular place is Coronado Beach. It's a beautiful, free place to hold your wedding ceremony or elopement for small groups under 25 peeps. ( for the free option, with no permit, you can't have chairs or wedding arches etc) Most people just gather around in a circle with their families and loved ones and say "I do"! After the ceremony head off to a reception! Fun, NO STRESS and on budget. And just $275 for the ceremony. Story of a really brave couple! And and an amazing woman, Mildred Loving....

TODAY WE CELEBRATE A SPECIAL "LOVE" ANNIVERSARY ! June 12, 1967, the supreme court overturned the Virginia ruling that sentenced Mildred and Richard Loving to a year in jail, or being banned from Virginia for 25 years.... because she was black and he was white. A unanimous decision was made by the Supreme Court ruling the original sentence was unconstitutional. The ruling ended ALL race based restrictions on marriage in the United States.........
