Finally, Mail Worth Getting Excited About
Most mail is something you have to deal with. A bill. An advertisement. Something you immediately throw away.
But every once in a while, you open your mailbox and find something that makes you stop.
Your name handwritten on an envelope. A story waiting inside.
That feeling started with my aunt, who still sends me postcards whenever she travels. Seeing her handwriting always gave me a little rush of excitement. Someone thought of me. Someone wanted to share a place, a memory, a story.
For 15 years, I had been collecting those same kinds of stories through my own landscape photography, traveling to 17 countries and photographing the places that stayed with me. Eventually, I realized those photographs didn’t have to sit unseen. They could become something someone looked forward to receiving.
So about a year ago, I created Postal Print Club.
Every month, I personally photograph and edit a landscape print, then write the story behind it, what happened while taking the photograph, what the place made me feel, or what it made me question about my own life.
Then I turn that photograph into a painting and have it printed onto the cloth wrapping. I add a quote on handmade paper, cut everything by hand, and assemble each month’s mail.
It’s not just a photograph. It’s a little adventure and journey that arrives in your mailbox.
And the photograph doubles as a postcard, so you can keep it, hang it up, or write on the back and send it to someone you love.
Don’t take my word for it:
“The Postcard of the Month is over the top!! ... her story about the scene was mesmerizing!”
Another subscriber said:
“The images and messages seem to track my life and give me inspiration every single day.”
Today, more than 700 letters have gone out to 200+ subscribers.
Join Postal Print Club for $12/month and make your mailbox the place you look forward to checking.
