It’s been awhile since we filmed a wedding video at Rancho Bernardo Inn I forgot how much we love the little sunlit nooks and spaces around the property. Bridget and Aaron were awesome to work with and make our jobs super easy as did the great group of vendors.

Maria & Scott’s wedding at Mission Bay Resort was so much fun! Her choreographed dance with her Dad literally had the crowd roaring. Seriously, I’m deaf in one ear. :-) Such a great group of vendors and a wonderful couple. Love this wedding!

Madison & Hunter Wedding Video
It had been a long time since we filmed at Ponte Winery in Temecula. I had forgotten how many great little places there are to film around this winery. The overcast skies and balmy temps were a welcome reprieve from the hard sunlight that often pounds away in the valley. That being said, we were so lucky to beat the rain, which finally fell after everyone was safely tucked away into the reception.

Madison and Hunter were awesome to work with and put 110% into their wedding with amazing vows and lots of time for photo and video which, no surprise, really helps make for a good wedding video. :-) We really loved working with them. We also dug the dramatic Barrel Room at Ponte. All the vendors were amazing and great for work with. What a great day!

We had so much fun filming this wedding at Grace and Tyler were such a fantastic couple to work with. I have to admit we've heard a lot of readings at ceremonies over the years, typically the same ones. And I have to admit we sometimes kind of zone out. Sorry, we really don't mean to. 🙂 Not at this one though. They brought our State's former Poet Laureate to do a reading and I found myself hanging on every word. I mean if someone's going to read poetry, that's the guy. But even so, it really drove home the idea that a well chosen poem, read with emotion and care, can be transcendent at a wedding. It's a nice touch.
As usual with all our weddings at Lomas, we had an amazing team of vendors on this one for which we are always quite grateful. Add that to a day with an amazing couple and life is perfect!

We always love filming at Ethereal Gardens and this wedding was no exception. Lenci, Nic and Company were all so much fun to work with. Their speeches and vows were especially moving and emotional, which is always a good thing for a wedding video. :-) All of their personalized decor and embellishments were great. We always love it when couples make the event their own and bring some history to the wedding. Lenci and Nic added photos of the places they’ve been together on the reception tables. We also really loved the charming vintage travel trailer photo booth. We are so happy we were able to capture their amazing day! Thanks guys!

Kellie & Seth Wedding Video Highlights

This has to be one of the most beautiful outdoor weddings we've ever filmed. Kaycie and Charlie brought so much great planning, energy and love to the event that is was hard not to get great footage :-) We also filmed Kaycie's sister's wedding (another one of our favorites) which is extra special because we got to see all the families again. Filming at Brookview Ranch was awesome! And working alongside the mighty Brogen Jessup Photography was also a hoot! Such a fun day!

We had a blast filming this wonderful couple's wedding in Temecula. I know he gets this all the time, but the groom is a serious doppelgänger for David Schwimmer and even shares the same first name. It's really uncanny. :-) This is one of the first one videographer weddings we've filmed in awhile. It's always good to challenge yourself once in awhile. I was actually surprised at how much I was able to capture all on my lonesome. :-) The wedding and reception was held at the Claire's parent's house which could honestly pass as a legit wedding venue. The place is amazing.
Special thanks to Michelle from Evelyn Francesca Events and Design for helping to make the day run smoothly as always. Fun wedding!

Kirsten & Amare

This couple was an absolute blast to work with! Kirsten's positive energy and enthusiasm was totally infectious and really shows in the video. Between the grand entrance dance, Amare's garter toss intro dance and Kirsten's choreographed father / daughter dance, there was no shortage of great moments. Also they allowed plenty of time for photos and video which really pays off. We also can't say enough nice things about Villa de Amore - Temecula Weddings. Such a great venue! Everything is in one place, the staff are amazing, the weather was perfect and there are tons of great places to film. Hope to work there again soon.

This was our first time filming a wedding video at Ethereal Open Air Resort in Escondido and hopefully not our last. Great venue! Shaun and Kristen were the best! I had no idea Kristen and her whole family were such good singers. They were able to weave the songs into many of the main events themselves from the ceremony to Kristen and her Dad's duet / father - daughter dance, which was a first for us. So cool. Also her surprise serenade to Shaun was awesome. We're always looking for opportunities to make the wedding videos unique and their songs really gave us a chance to blend the wedding music and their singing together. I was initially a little nervous about how I would film it when this couple said they wanted to do and improvised "dance off" at each table at the reception after the grand entrance. Turns out it was the best idea ever! This couple was so much fun to work with and we got so many fun shots. Not only do they know how to cut a rug, but they had simultaneously hilarious and super endearing vows with tons of heart and personality. Combine that with a great first look and you have all the ingredients for a great wedding video. Nice job guys! Such a fun wedding. Thanks also to Twin Oaks House Garden Estate venue who always provide a smooth, worry free experience.

Can't say enough good stuff about this beautiful wedding! Filming a wedding video at Lake Oak Meadows in the Temecula Wine Country is always a pleasure and this great couple really made it special. Also, filming with my new Zeiss 50mm 1.4 lens kinda blew my mind and it quickly became my "go to lens." The sharpness and the way it captures bokeh especially through the trees at this particular venue is amazing. Of course, we also just loved working with Jovan & Bret who brought so much enthusiasm, beauty and love to what was a truly amazing day.

We loved the vibe of this wedding! Shaina & Michael were super fun to work with and put on a great event. Filming a wedding video at the San Diego Botanic Garden is always a pleasure. We love all the bamboo, succulents and botanical delights. To top it off, a burger serving gastro food truck from MIHO Gastrotruck really can't be beat. Yum! If that weren't enough... we got to work with a vendor dream team. She Wanders Photography are amazing and always overflowing with refreshing and surprising creative ideas. And Julia Bagunu, Event Coordinator with Creative Affairs Inc. is the best... always on top of everything and keeps the day moving along smoothly. Such a great day!

What a great wedding! It was our first time filming at Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens in San Clemente and hopefully not our last. With its expansive view of the Pacific and early 1900’s California charm it’s pretty hard to beat. Of course filming at the Mission in Mission San Juan Capistrano, CA is always amazing. The textures, backgrounds and light is simply magical. Zac and Gabrielle have to be some of the nicest people we’ve met. Kelsey & Jared

We absolutely adore this wedding. These two amazing people brought so much love and creativity to their big day. Jared is an uber-talented singer, performer and all-around super nice guy. He sang, he played piano and both of them wrote some of the most moving and passionate vows we've seen in a long while. Hearing their story about how they met in New York and then found themselves in San Diego was so nice.

Filming at Mt. Woodson/ Amy Strong Castle is always a treat and working with Iman and her amazingly efficient crew makes it that much better. It's difficult to overstate the importance of great photographers and we can't say enough good things about Shane and Lauren Photography This is our second time working with them and hopefully not our last.

These 2 love birds got hitched at The Crossings At Carlsbad Golf Course, one of our favorite places to shoot. Somehow we always seem to get really lovely sunset footage there despite the usual fickle San Diego marine layer. Brianne and Brian had a great, well put together wedding with beautiful vows and letters, plenty of time for photo sessions and a first look - all the ingredients we look for in our videos. “Gorka! Gorka!” Hearing those words can only mean we are filming another great Russian wedding. They are always so much fun and Keren & Gene’s wedding was no exception. We also loved filming at the The Beverly Hilton with it’s 50’s glamour and stylish modernity, as well as, an amazing roof top view of Los Angeles for the ceremony site. Bonus! With some help from coordinator extraordinaire Rita, of Events Boutique , Keren & Gene planned one really amazing event.
