Great to see this wedding featured. I had such an awesome time at this wedding, and it was really great playing alongside a band I've been a fan of for years, and had seen live many times. Pine Mountain Logs are by far the best wedding band I've ever heard, maybe because they aren't really a wedding band but sell out venues all over So Cal. Great couple, great vendors, great wedding.

Last night at Darlington House was awesome. It was a hot day, a bridesmaid almost fainted, but the crowd was a blast and we had one of the most packed dance floors in recent weeks. Looking forward to the many more Darlington House weddings in the coming months!

So, just like that, I am officially launching my new website and new logo. I've revamped my overall look with a new booking/brochure system as well. I of course want to take a moment to thank everyone involved and share the new site with you!

First off, I want to thank Courtney Tibbets for her vision. When I first starting working events with Courtney a few years back, I noticed she had a knack for attracting her ideal client. This is something as a DJ I have struggled with, and I know a lot of other professionals struggle with this too. So I reached out for her help, and she accepted. I am so grateful for her vision. Everything from the black and white theme, the 'less is more' with the website copy, the featured photos, etc. She has a great eye for design and I am so grateful for your help Courtney!

I have had others help along the way. Taking a look and giving some feedback. I really appreciate it and trust your judgement. You know who you are!

I wanted to give a shout out to all of the awesome photographers involved as well. There is so much great work just in the featured weddings I have, but I of course hope to share more content and more professionals work over time. Jasmine from Let's Frolic Together has the highest volume of work on my new website, and I absolutely love all of our adventures together over the last couple of years. We have been so lucky to have some amazing clients! A special thanks to Brogen Jessup who's work speaks for itself. She is truly talented and I am so glad to have met her. Paul Douda and Lisa Hadley shared some incredible work from our NYE wedding together a couple of years back. Jenna Joseph has some featured work from our recent wedding together coordinated by the amazing Molly Stark. It's really hard to thank everyone, but you know who you are: Chris Wojdak, Julie Ferneau, and so many more for letting me chat with you about my direction and ideas, and offering support and feedback. Also, Nikki Lopez and SidebySide Cinema (Jared and Danielle) for beginning the process of starting some professional video promotions for my business. I'm really just outpouring with gratitude. I can't forget Bethel Nathan as well for helping me figure out some troubleshooting, and for always letting me pick her very large brain about business.

I tried to make this post earlier today, and hit some snags that I'd rather not mention since it was stressful, so I THINK I've got that all sorted out. If you notice ANY BUGS AT ALL, pop-ups or other weirdness, please let me know via PM and I will be sure to look into it. I have officially launched my new website through my advertisement profiles and professional profiles, so all the help I can get in testing the new site is appreciated. Oh, and thanks one more time to Courtney for letting me bug her constantly while I built this website and rebranded my business. You are awesome!

"Honestly, don't look any further if you're looking for a DJ - Matt is the BEST! From our first meeting, I knew he would be a great match for our wedding. He really took time to get to know us as a couple and exactly what type of music and vibe we wanted for our big day. One day he even took the time to meet my mom and I up in Temecula on a Saturday at our venue just to see exactly how many lights we would need so we didn't have to pay for anything unnecessary. We had such a blast hanging out with him!
My husband and I moved to Chicago before our wedding in San Diego so about two weeks before the wedding he had no problem Skyping us to go over final details for the wedding. I gotta say, our wedding day was completely flawless. Everything from the music to me walking down the aisle, cocktail hour and all the transitions throughout the evening was PERFECT. My husband and I were even saying during dinner how thankful we were for Matt!
Now let's talk about the dancing. From the start, I wanted my wedding to be a big, fun dance party. And let me tell you, it was!! I myself was on the dance floor for over two hours and our friends and family had a blast. It truly was a big party and weeks later (we got married 6/25/16), we're still getting compliments from friends and family by how awesome our music was. I can't express how truly grateful we are that Matt was our DJ - he really did make our big day perfect. The best part about Matt though, is that he really did become our friend in the process. So if you're looking for a wonderful DJ and MC for either your wedding or big event there's no question - Matt is your guy!"
