I just had to share this article with everyone. Even though it's written for engaged couples it really applies to anyone who is inquiring about any type of event.

Tis the season for engagements. Your newly engaged and don't know where to start. Here are the 10 things NOT to do when inquiring with wedding vendors!

Who else loves Gender Reveals? I know I do! The anticipation of the parents-to-be. The first reaction. The smiles (or frowns) from the siblings. What is not to love?

Then you get to look back at those pictures and remember that feeling you felt when you found out if you were having a boy or girl. Now those are amazing memories.

But enough with the cute stuff, can I just take a quick moment to point out how perfect our wooden backdrop looked between the palm trees. When our client said pick the spot you think is best. I scan the area quickly and the designer in me spotted this area right away. It was perfect!

Placement is really important. The angles, views, flow are all key factors when designing an event. The type of event, number of guests, activities are all factored in as well. Just because something looks "good" does not mean it's functional. We keep that in mind when designing your events.
