Today, City Heights Music School celebrates Mexican Independence Day and the music, culture, and traditions that bring our community together.

We’re especially excited for Mariachi Victoria, who will be performing and celebrating throughout the week in partnership with Center for World Music and at other community events across San Diego. 🎻🎺❤️

We’re proud to see our musicians sharing mariachi and Mexican culture throughout our community.

Did you know that there are Parent Training and Information Centers (PTIs) in every state, to support parents of children receiving special education services? 💙♾️

PTIs help families understand and advocate for their children. They operate independently from school districts and state agencies. Many PTIs offer phone📲 consultation, webinars, workshops, and more.

A heat advisory is in effect for inland areas through 10 a.m. Tuesday, followed by an extreme heat watch for the entire region through at least 8 p.m. Friday, per the National Weather Service.
