Well I think I am due for a little life update around here! 🗓️ I’ve been busy! In June of last year I married my favorite person in the beautiful Black Hills and in September we found out we were expecting! Now we are just a few short weeks from meeting our baby boy 💙 We could not be any more excited for all the new changes that this last year has brought! I even threw a hair color change in there to boot. 💇🏻‍♀️😂

With that, Infini Films is changing a bit too! Infini Films will now offer wedding photo and only a limited amount of wedding films. As my life evolves, it’s become increasingly difficult to take on so many films as they carry a hefty editing load. SO I’ve decided to pivot and offer more photo and only a few films per year. Please feel free to reach out about either, I’d love to chat! Thank you to all my past, present and future clients for understanding! So so thankful to you all for trusting me with your most special day!

I’ve been on the other side of weddings lately ❤️ for those who don’t know this is my fiancé, Tyler, we’ve been engaged for over a year already hehe, but we finally tie the knot in June! It’s been a little difficult juggling weddings, commercial work, and planning a wedding (that’s why I wanted a whole year to plan) 🙃 thank you everyone for your patience, truly appreciated. It’s fun to be on this side, I think it’s made me a better filmmaker and a better realistic bride haha 😂

Now that the season is over I am catching up on weddings and then I’ll get to have mine!!

Guess what.
Last week I finished all my 2021 films.
Guess what else.
I’m gonna book myself a SPA DAY 🧖🏼‍♀️💃🏼

It’s been 3 months since my last wedding of 2021 and it took me that long to catch up! Video editing is NO joke! There’s hours upon hours of footage, the music selection (the part that takes the longest and makes the film) and then there’s picking the audio bits that best fit the film and then deciding the order in which to place the audio within the music and deciding how to let moments breathe (aka pacing). Then it’s choosing the clips and how to cut between each one. Then there’s the color grading/correction and then sound effects, and there are many other little things along the way, but you get the point. All that to say that’s why it takes a while to get your film back. And if you’re wondering why video might be more expensive than you thought, well there you go! I did have some corporate projects along the way but most of the last three months was spent catching up, and it feels SO good for this goal oriented girl.
