Established in 2000, the Legendary Lion Dance Association is a non profit lion dance team based in San Diego CA dedicated to preserving and promoting Chinese Lion Dance & Martial Arts . Our teams main goal is to promote community service , cultural awareness , preserve Chinese cultural arts , women empowerment and help promote Lion Dance as physical fitness sport in city of San Diego. Throughout t
he years our group has became one of the most diverse groups in San Diego CA, with members ranging from many different background & ethnicities from Vietnamese, Chinese , Hispanic , Caucasian, African American , Cambodian and many more. One of our teams best accomplishments is receiving a couple of commendation awards from the city of San Diego for our contribution for preserving cultural arts in San Diego as well as community service. Our group can be seen performing at many events such as Lunar New Years, Weddings , Grand openings, parties, banquets , graduations, birthdays, house warmings, blessings , casinos , corporate events and many more !
