It is bittersweet to reveal that Rainbow Flowers will be shutting its doors in Hillcrest and relocating to Point Loma starting June 1st. We were so honored to serve the Hillcrest community for the past 33 years! We will miss this location greatly but life took a turn and is now calling us to a bigger and more spacious location. Thank you all for the support you provided us over these years. This isn’t goodbye but a see you at Point Loma next month! Come visit us during the last two weeks during this transition, grab a coupon, and celebrate an official end to the legendary Hillcrest location of Rainbow Flowers. We hope to see you next month at the new location located at 3704 Voltaire St. Suite 103 San Diego, CA 92107. Thank you for the continued understanding and support during this bittersweet time. How bittersweet to reveal that Marie will be officially retiring from Rainbow Flowers after 30 years in business. She has put her blood sweat and tears into building this flower shop up from selling flowers on the side of the road, to upgrading to a gazebo, to nailing a spot in the heart of Hillcrest as the legendary Rainbow Flowers. You're a true professional who’s shown by example that excellence is something to aim for daily. You've worked hard for so many years and now it’s time to celebrate the legacy you leave behind. You deserve to relax and take it easy for a change. Enjoy it! Congratulations! All the best for a well-deserved retirement!
Marie has also decided to hand down her flower shop to me, her niece, Lucy Kafka. It is sad to see her go after Mother’s Day but I know she won’t be let down by transferring the shop over to me. She has trained and equipped me and there’s nothing more valuable than keeping this family business alive. What an honor to carry on the legacy that Marie has created over the past 30 years. Cheers to big changes this year and thank you everyone for your kind wishes and support 🤗
