Denver-based producer and DJ BACKWHEN has spent more than a decade carving out a distinctive place in underground electronic music. A co-founder of the Purple Posse collective, his sound draws from phonk, hip-hop and bass music, weaving shadowy atmospheres, heavy low end and cinematic melodies into tracks that feel equally suited for headphones and a dark dancefloor.
