Reminder: Movie in the Park, Saturday, August 9th
Our 4th annual Movie in the Park is tomorrow, Saturday, August 9th. RPCC/Rolando Park PTA are presenting"Wicked" at Rolando Park Elementary Joint Use Park!
• Preshow activities start at 5pm with the movie starting at dusk.
• We’ll have face painting and a jumper/slide for the kids and the PTA will be selling glow jewelry.
• Rolando Park Elementary Principal Noriega will have a table with free books.
• Our friends at College - Rolando Library will also be joining us to share Summer Reading info/prizes.
• Rolando Park’s own Tacos & Catering El Bad Hombre will be selling street tacos and Gelu Italian Ice will also be there. You are always free to bring your own food.
• Blankets and beach/lawn chairs only, no tents or canopies on the lawn.
• Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome.
• Parking will be challenging this year. Most of the joint use park parking lot is closed for construction, but there will be a few spaces in the back row. The front parking lot will be open and some parking will be available on neighboring streets, but please try to walk in if possible.
