Carmen and Bahaneh's wedding was a vibrant celebration of love coupled with gorgeous multicolored blooms, an elaborately decorated sofreh (a ceremonial table covered with items that have symbolic meanings, surrounded by family and friends), and an adorable fur baby in a pin-striped suit! What more could you ask for? Love truly won at this celebration and we were so happy to add our special flair!

If you know me you know I am obsessed with all things color! And there is nothing I love more than the phalaenopsis orchid! It comes in a variety of colors but this gorgeous fuchsia color has so much impact and just went beautifully with the jewel-toned blooms.

The Sofreh is a Persian wedding ceremony tradition; meaning a table or a “spread.”

In a Persian wedding, the ceremony area, including a stage or table, is covered with delicious delicacies and beautiful decorative items, each with its own particular symbolism for the marriage.

It was such a pleasure adding gorgeous blush and ivory blooms to Arezu and Reza's Sofreh.

Paradise Point Resort, previously known as Vacation Village in the 60s is a 44-acre island that has become one of San Diego’s hidden gems. It also happens to be one of my favorite wedding venues to work at. Beyond the beautiful flowers we got to do for Amber and Grant’s wedding pictured here, notice the lush setting that makes you feel like you’re on a tropical island! I feel so lucky I get to work at such gorgeous places and always look forward to working more weddings held at this tropical paradise.
