I’ve probably done somewhere around 500+ parties. I’ve seen so many beautiful moments—some with familiar themes personalized for each family, others with brand new concepts that push my creativity in the best way. But today was different. Today was a first.
It started with a phone call from a man who said, “My wife was diagnosed with cancer. She fought. And Tuesday the 8th is her last day of treatment. I want to make it special—can you help me?”
That call stopped me in my tracks. His love, his intention, his heart—this wasn’t just a party. It was a victory. A tribute. A release. And although we had to navigate a no-balloon policy, we pulled together something beautiful and meaningful to honor her.
These are the moments that remind me why I do what I do. The scale doesn’t matter—it’s the story behind it that makes it unforgettable. I’m so honored to have helped create something for Dana that celebrated strength, survival, and deep, unwavering love.
